Cozy cafe with french charm. Had the soup and salad lunch set, with my bowl of coffee! Ha. Food was delicious, and I'm now wired to explore the Kichijoji area. Cash or PayPay only.
View on GoogleA charming French themed coffee cafe that serves alcohol. Their cappuccino was good as was the creme brule. It was all very affordable with most menu items being in the sub-1k¥ range (exceptions for bottles of wine/champagne) . One word of warning before coming is that they don't take standard cards but Paypay, Alipay, and cash only. Luckily there's a 7/11 a block away if you need to yoink some cash.
View on GoogleI found that a nice couple take care of the cafe. The lady looked and sounded like she is from France. The couple talked each other in French. The portion of my petit dejeuner was really small maybe because they were running their business in Japan. Anyway it was a nice surprise to find the French Cafe in the good neighbourhood of Tokyo.
View on GoogleAbout 20 seats inside and 6 to 8 on the terrace out front. Going for a French atmosphere with some success. I think the woman running it is French. Current song IDs as "Ma faute à toi" by La Rue Kétanou. A shelf of various small stuff for sale by the door and lots of books. I spotted some French, but mostly children's stuff. No Wi-Fi. Coffee is stronger than average, but I like the flavor. Call it a strong 4 stars overall.
