A very authentic Vietnamese experience. I had the bun cha gio, which was scrumptious. The spring rolls were crispy and flavourful and the dipping sauce hot and stimulating. The attention to detail though is exciting, they play Vinahouse as background music and it just transported me to the excitement of my time in Vietnam.
View on GoogleSimply delicious, not the best meal, but the kind I can eat every day. With reasonable prices and opening hours until 23:00 on the weekends, it’s the only place I visit every time I come back from snowboarding trips. My favorite thing is buying bánh mì and drinks here and eating them near Inokashira Lake
View on GoogleIf you’re needing to scratch your itch for Vietnamese food, this is it. We went here after the Studio Ghibli museum and were blown away. It’s not the most “authentic” taste, but it’s definitely refreshing with the amount of pickles. The bread was slightly browned giving an extra dimension of crunch. Their egg rolls were also great - crispy, peppery, umami. I can only comment on the banh mi and egg roll, but I’m sure the other items would be delicious as well.
View on GoogleHeard some peppy pop music coming from this true hole-in-the-wall family Bahn Mi place. Had to try their vegetarian options and had the tofu Bahn Mi. Blew me away when I took a bite into the crunchy crust and hit a warm crispy tofu square. I was so surprised at this crispy delight, I ordered another one. Lots of regulars coming in so I assume this is a well known local favorite. Enjoy the Vietnamese pop music and crunch down on a delicious Bahn Mi.
View on GoogleOne of the workers here is extremely friend every time I see her. I've been craving banh mis and this place does a decent job. Their bread is really good, which I think makes the difference. The place always has open seating, so it's a good spot for a quick solo lunch or dinner on the way home.
