Chuka Ryori Wakamatsu @ Kamikitadai Tanmen ¥700, Gyoza ¥550 An old-fashioned town Chinese restaurant located next to Musashimurayama Taishoken on Shin-Ome Kaido! The atmosphere at dusk is so melancholic that you can't help but enter this shop. When you enter the shop, an elderly couple welcomes you. Around 18:00 on a weekday, I am the only customer, so although I feel a bit awkward, I sit at the counter seat and order tanmen and gyoza. From the kitchen, the sound of kankan when stir-frying vegetables and the scent of lard drift, and soon the tanmen is served. A cloudy white soup with a slightly strong salty taste, stir-fried vegetables, and chewy medium noodles. Because of the abundant lard, it stays hot forever! The gyoza are large, there are 6 of them, with a crispy skin on the bottom but chewy. The filling is flavorful, utilizing the sweetness and texture of the cabbage, a dish I want to pair with beer! I'm curious about other menus, so I'll stop by again. Thank you for the meal♪
View on GoogleA visit after a long time. The review I wrote before is also gone😅 Managed by an elderly couple. Chose ramen and curry rice I was sitting at the counter seat, but the husband was scolding his wife like he was grumbling😅 The ramen had a nostalgic taste♪ The curry rice felt like curry rice at a soba shop, which is my favorite taste😆 There doesn't seem to be a successor, but I hope this shop will last a long time🥲
View on GoogleVisited around 6 PM on a weekday, ordered ramen 520 yen, fried rice 650 yen. The ramen is a light and clear soy sauce soup, the toppings are wakame seaweed and 1 piece of roast pork, menma with chopped green onions, very simple. This simplicity is great. It feels nostalgic, a taste that somehow makes you miss it. Delicious. The fried rice doesn't have luxurious ingredients either, just ham, green peas, and kamaboko. If you say it's simple, it's simple, but this is also a taste that reminds me of the fried rice of the town Chinese shops of the past. Because shops that are very classic and attack the target zone of Japanese people raised in Kanto are decreasing, this is a valuable famous shop. There are 5 tables for 4 people, 6-7 counter seats. There is a parking lot in front of the shop. If you look at the chef's license hanging on the wall, the date of birth is August 2, 1944. Of course, the taste of the Showa era would come out.

View on GoogleOld-fashioned Chinese restaurant run by an elderly couple. Ordered miso chashu, tanmen, stir-fried liver and chives, and fried rice. Everything was delicious! It was around 1 PM on Sunday, but because of the turnover of customers, I was able to get in immediately.
