[Food & Taste] I bought a karaage bento (5 pieces) for takeout. I ordered a combination of three flavors: salt, soy sauce, and their signature Ageraa. Just as the big sign proudly proclaims "the tastiest in Japan," this was very delicious karaage that clearly conveyed the shop's dedication and confidence. The coating outside was crisp and fragrant, and the meat inside was extremely juicy. The simple "salt" packed with umami, the classic "soy sauce" with its savory richness, and the "Ageraa" with its addictive sweet-and-sour sauce—each had its own character, and I enjoyed them to the very end without getting bored. They go perfectly with rice too. [Service] When I ordered, the lady serving at the front of the shop was very friendly and warm, and greeted me with an approachable smile. Thanks to her polite, pleasant service, I was in a great mood from the moment I received my bento. [Overall Impression] Not only the quality of the taste but also the warm personality of the staff made this a very satisfying takeout experience. It's a wonderful shop that makes me strongly think, "I definitely want to stop by again when I'm nearby." Thank you for the delicious karaage!
View on GoogleI've used the Kodaira Akaneyabashi and Higashikurume Shimosato locations many times, and this was my first visit to this Musashimurayama location. Of course there's some luck involved in when things get fried, but the karaage I bought around 7:30 p.m. on a weekday were all big, juicy, and delicious. The coating on the spicy karaage (辛唐) varies, but this time I got a seriously bright red one (lol). It was probably a piece with a deep soy sauce color that got loaded with coarse chili flakes—the gritty texture on the tongue was fun, and the soy sauce really came through. Delicious! The young female staff member's service was good too, and I'd like to come back. The salty, greasy fried onigiri was tastier than I imagined, so I'll buy it again!
View on GoogleDrawn in by the karaage banner, I stopped by. Maybe because of rising prices, the food was skimpier than I'd imagined (tears) The taste is good, so I thought if they made it feel like a bit better value, they'd be much more popular! I bought the set with 2 karaage and a croquette in a large size, but I wasn't full at all. If I'd known, I'd have been better off buying cup noodles at a convenience store.
View on GoogleThey have various types of karaage bento. Besides karaage, they also have individual items like grilled onigiri, fried oysters, and croquettes. You can really feel the wave of price hikes. Even the cheapest S size comes to nearly 500 yen. A huge difference from a few years ago The texture isn't crispy-fried but moist. Not in a bad way—the sauce soaks in thoroughly, and it's tasty in its own way. These days crispy karaage is the mainstream, but the prices are low, which really helps. Besides the classic soy sauce flavor, you can enjoy various variations like salt, basil, and curry. Personally, I think the basil one is delicious. Eligible for PayPay 30% cashback
