Large tables with lazy Susan in the middle large portions cooked to order and not overly salty like many kanto area places

Ashtrays are provided, so smoking might be allowed. Do be careful… The interior has high ceilings and a stylish atmosphere, but solo diners are forced onto a cramped counter. The owner's wife was preparing ingredients opposite me and constantly facing my way, which made it uncomfortable. The tanmen bowl is distinctive. There was no meat, and the strong shimeji flavor felt out of place. Neither the soup nor the noodles were particularly good.

It was my first visit, and I had a lovely chat with the owner and his wife! The gyoza 🥟 were delicious, and when I asked the husband about them, he said he didn't want to add lard! Oh! They really were generously filled, flavorful, and light! So even after having gyoza and beer 🍺 first, I could still enjoy the meal that followed! And apparently the vegetables sold inside are grown by the owner and his wife! I bought napa cabbage, spinach, lemons and mandarins, taro, and sweet potatoes. They even listened to my problems with my vegetable garden at home (^^) Also, although I didn't order any this time, he mentioned during our conversation that fishing is his hobby! They serve the fish he catches at the restaurant! Simmered fish at a Chinese restaurant! I thought, huh? Apparently they also serve sashimi just after the fish are caught! On (Tuesday) and (Wednesday), lots of customers come for the fish dishes and the place fills up. I'd like to have fish next time, but will I be able to get in〜^^; I had such a fun time! Thank you for the meal!

【Mildly spicy stir-fried pork and eggplant set meal】 【6 gyoza】 I chose these from the recommended menu section. The vinegar came through in the mild heat, and it was delicious. The gyoza came with homemade yuzu kosho, which was also delicious. The rice had just the right firmness, and the miso soup had a nice umami flavor from the stock. The interior felt clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. It was a good restaurant.

First visit on a Sunday afternoon! There was 1 group already there, and about 3 more groups arrived afterward. The lighting inside was a little dim, but it was clean, and the spacing was generous, which was nice! That means there are fewer seats, though. Mapo tofu set meal, upgraded to Sichuan for +150円 We ordered 4 dishes: that, chilled ramen, half-portion fried rice, and gyoza. I think there was 1 person serving and 1 in the kitchen… when orders overlap with other customers', serving takes a little longer (though it's still fast). The mapo tofu had a gritty texture from the sansho and looked oily, but it wasn't heavy when eaten and was delicious! Personally, I liked the flavor and thickness! The chilled ramen had a refreshing, lightly seasoned, clean-tasting soup that was delicious. If it had been ice-cold, it would've been perfect! The half-portion fried rice was especially delicious! Well flavored, with separate grains, yet not oily! The small green onions added a nice accent. It was the best fried rice I'd had in a while! It made me want to try the other fried rice dishes next time. The homemade yuzu kosho served with the gyoza, which caught my attention in everyone's reviews, had lovely bitterness from chopped yuzu and delicious heat! It's salty by itself, but delicious with the gyoza! Recommended! The lady's voice was a little quiet, but she brought a pitcher of water right away and answered properly, so nothing felt unpleasant. Maybe this is what just the right amount of interaction means (haha). It was a good restaurant, the first in a while, and I'm curious about dinner too. I'll visit again.
