A lovely island café with quality coffee and a calm atmosphere — definitely one of the newer-generation spots around. The coffee was great, and the owner was kind and attentive. I completely understand the no outside food policy, but it would have been nice if there were food options available on-site. I was told I could eat outside, which was fair, but the outdoor seating doesn’t have shade — so it’s a bit tough on a hot day. That said, if there were shade, the patio would actually be a very nice spot to sit and relax. I know these things might come down to cultural differences, and it’s not a dealbreaker — just something to keep in mind. Overall, a solid coffee stop on the island!

Really cool place, good coffee (try the passion fruit espresso!) and cool ambience and owner. Check it out while you visit Miyakejima!

Since I often go out to sea, I always look for whale-related products and such, and this place was a gold mine for me. Necklaces, Nalgene bottles with whales on them, bags, even T-shirts^^ The coffee is delicious too. I talked a lot with the owner about whales.
