Opened in Kichijoji in 2015, we relocated and reopened in Mitaka on November 18, 2021. Just a 5-minute walk from the South Exit of Mitaka Station, please enjoy nihachi soba freshly made every morning in our spacious, relaxing raised tatami area. Our great-value lunch of soba with your choice of mini rice bowl is 1,300 yen. Day or night, you can also enjoy signature dishes, sobamae (snacks to go with drinks before soba), and alcohol. We have 4 counter seats and 14 seats in the horigotatsu tatami room. Small groups and families alike can relax and take their time. Our website URL is unchanged from our Kichijoji days.

【Revisit June 2026 = Lunch Set A = Mini tendon and kake soba, extra-large (1300 yen + 500 yen)】 For the first time in a while, I visited 10 minutes before opening at weekday lunchtime; no one was ahead of me, and 6 more customers lined up behind me before opening. Inside, you take off your shoes, put them in the shoe rack at the entrance, and step up; there are 5 horigotatsu-style tables for two and 3 counter seats. I ordered Lunch Set A = mini tendon and kake soba set & extra-large soba (1300 yen + 500 yen = 1800 yen). For the soba, you can choose either hot = kake soba or cold = mori soba. The soba portion is a dainty amount, so men might want to size up. Soba size-ups: large = 1.3x = +300 yen, extra-large = 1.7x = +500 yen. Lunch Set B is a mini tuna bowl and C is a mini oyakodon, both appealing options. The set comes with a tendon of freshly fried tempura (shrimp, eggplant, maitake, zucchini, cherry tomato) on a mini serving of rice, kake soba with thin noodles in broth topped with mitsuba & yuzu peel, a small dish of green onions, nukazuke pickles, tomato caprese, and pudding topped with buckwheat groats. Everything is carefully prepared and plated, looks beautiful, and tastes very good. A popular place that's almost full before 12 o'clock.

A soba shop just a little off the street in front of the station🍜 Japanese-style interior with a calming horigotatsu atmosphere There are seats for one and seats for two; it's a place to take your time and savor soba (^o^) The "fuku kuru" (good fortune comes) teacup they serve tea in when you sit down is cute I had the "oyakodon and soba lunch." The soba is really delicious! It also comes with pumpkin salad and pickles. The oyakodon was fluffy and soft, which I also liked. They also had tendon and tuna bowl lunches, so I'd like to go again (^o^)

2025.5.11 Visited for the first time. The interior is white-themed, bright, and clean. I went with the tendon set from the lunch menu with a large soba (1,550 yen). The shrimp tempura had a crispy batter and was plump inside, just how I like it. The rice portion was small and felt a bit lacking. The soba is thin but has a firm bite and a smooth, slippery texture. Overall, I felt the portions were modest. The service from the young female staff member was also good, and I could eat without any stress. Thank you for the meal!

Actually, I've been coming here since just before it moved to this spot, and I was relieved to see it's as popular as ever. I like that the shop isn't on the main street, but it stands out because it brings such a Japanese atmosphere to a concrete apartment building! A soba shop with tatami seating is rare, and I think it's a place where you can feel the owner's attention to detail in the interior. The owner is a good person too ◎. It's a lively shop but still calming. The taste goes without saying, but there are plenty of dishes besides soba, so the drinks keep flowing. Next time I want to go at night and enjoy soba while drinking some good sake.

Great location, about 5 minutes from the South Exit of Mitaka Station Went in on a Sunday night It seems to be a place that's hard for first-timers to get into; from the moment I walked in, the regulars gave off a vibe like "why the heck is this guy here," and I ate the whole meal being grumbled at from behind, from the tatami seating side. Seiro soba, regular portion 870 yen About 40 minutes from order to serving, why, when there were only 4 groups of customers including me? By the time the soba was served it had dried out and gotten tangled, and when I scooped it with chopsticks it came up in clumps from the bamboo tray; the aroma and flavor of the soba were average, and I didn't really feel the mouthfeel and texture unique to hand-made soba The tsuyu had no rough flavors and had a solid bonito dashi taste The wasabi looked like the moist, pasty kind that comes with delivery sushi, and one bite confirmed it. I've toured rustic soba places in Yamagata and been to a number of soba shops around here, but this was the first time soba came out in this state at a place with the atmosphere of an authentic hand-made soba restaurant, and honestly I was surprised. Wide selection of sake The à la carte dishes are tasty; the agedashi tofu had seasoning and texture that made you completely forget the plainness of tofu, and the dashimaki tamago had a fluffy, squishy texture with a refined dashi flavor that makes the sake go down easily, The egg was 580 yen and the tofu 560 yen, reasonable The nama-zake Hijiri was 580 yen! I thought that was reasonable, but the serving was a bit small; come to think of it, when I ordered I was asked if half a gō was okay, so to get my healthy daily amount of drinking (one One Cup Ozeki) I'd have had to order twice. That said, they really do line up carefully selected fine sakes, so it is what it is, but thinking in terms of 1 gō, the price ends up on the high side. I'd love to compare fine sakes by the half gō with good snacks, but that seems to call for the resolve and wallet of visiting a proper Japanese restaurant. Half gō of sake, 2 à la carte dishes, seiro soba, and otoshi: 3120 yen If I made my living around here, it might not be bad to become a regular at this as a refined hideaway izakaya Since it seems to be a place that doesn't suit first-timers, and there are plenty of highly rated soba shops around here, I'll go to other soba shops. Thank you for the meal.
