Small cramp sushi shop. But that not a bad thing. That is usually where the best food is at. Sushi is fresh. Got the combo plate that was based on the current season. Be warned though. Menu is in Japanese.

Visited because I was curious about the lunch menu. Ordered the jo-nigiri 1300 yen (the regular is 1000 yen) and chawanmushi. The toppings: akami, otoro, sukimi hand roll, squid (with nori between it and the rice), red sea bream, steamed shrimp (or choice of sweet shrimp), sea urchin (or choice of ikura), tamago. Served first: an assortment of pickles and simmered bamboo shoots and wakame. Akadashi miso soup with nameko, fried tofu, and tofu. 1300 yen for this set is an unbelievable price. You can't get otoro like this anywhere else at this price. The other toppings are big and very satisfying too. The sea urchin was ordinary, but you'd never get sea urchin at this price, so it's still an unbelievable deal. The sukimi also isn't the oil-mixed stuff sold at supermarkets, but properly made sukimi. Tasty. They even removed the shell from the shrimp head, so you can just bite right in. You can even eat the miso. The tamago is just my style. Not the usual sweet tamago, but dashimaki tamago. With this set as a snack, the sake just keeps going down. The chawanmushi had ginkgo nuts, shiitake, kamaboko and more, plus red sea bream, with a fluffy texture—delicious. When I ordered, they were kind enough to ask, "Is there anything you don't like?" A really great place. Next time I'd like to come drink with my wife.

🍣『Sushi Fuku』🍣 I had dinner at "Sushi Fuku," located along Sakura-dori on the South Exit side of Mitaka Station. "Sushi Fuku" in Shimorenjaku, Mitaka City, Tokyo, is a place that prides itself on fresh sushi. For lunch there's an affordable nakaochi bowl lunch, which is apparently hearty and very satisfying…😋. From the counter seats you can see the glass topping case, so you get a good look at the sushi toppings. There were many elderly local regulars, and it seemed most of them knew the owner. I was in a room on the 2nd floor. Getting to the 2nd floor meant squeezing behind the counter seats, and it was really tight😞💦 Is it just me…(・・? The anago is also said to be delicious, so meltingly tender that it becomes one with the vinegared rice and melts in your mouth…. But it was sold out. The owner's homemade dishes and craftsmanship are also well-regarded, and apparently it has many repeat customers. "Sushi Fuku" was very busy. You have to wait patiently until your food arrives…🍣😋✨

I visited twice while staying in Mitaka. The taste, of course, but the prices were good too, and above all the atmosphere was great. Thanks to the cheerful owner and the warm customers, the whole meal was enjoyable. If I stay nearby again, I think I'll visit again😊😊

Came in today for lunch, the two of us🍣 I ordered the kaisendon, and my companion ordered the anago bowl, limited to 5 servings a day. The kaisendon came with miso soup, simmered bamboo shoots and wakame, and pickles for a reasonable 1,100 yen, and the toppings were fresh and all delicious😋 For payment, in addition to cash, au PAY and Merpay are accepted. The atmosphere was nice too, so it's a place I'd recommend.
