The taste was ordinary. But the price is high! I could accept it if the portion were generous, but it is small!
View on GoogleI visited during lunchtime on a weekday. It is a place locals casually drop into. I had mori soba for 750 yen. I felt the dipping sauce was a little salty, but that is a matter of preference.
View on GoogleI had lunch and was surprised that the ginger-fried pork was cold. Apparently the grilled short ribs ordered by another person were warm. I was extremely disappointed.
View on GoogleThere was nobody there at 11 on a cold public holiday, but although the tempura soba was expensive, its strongly flavored dashi broth and large shrimp warmed me up.
View on GoogleAfter 23:00, I discovered a rare soba shop open late into the night! On my way home from work, I felt like chikara udon, katsudon, and soba, so I came in. There is parking too, and it is a 5-minute drive from Mitaka! The udon had a firm bite, and dipping the grilled mochi into the broth before eating it was really delicious. Above all, I appreciate that they stay open late when most soba shops close early. When I am tired, I crave udon or soba. It is valuable to have somewhere to relax at a table instead of eating standing up. Incidentally, the building of this long-established shop, which has been running for 65 years this year, is worth seeing. It even occasionally appears as a TV filming location. The proprietress and her son were very friendly too. Next time, I want to try their secret-recipe gyoza.
