Very nice place to eat with really kind employees that will make any foreigners feel welcome their is also a partial English speaking employee who is a main part of why this review was so high.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch on a weekday Ordered the karaage set and oyakodon set The portions were probably about average The soba seemed to be nihachi soba Perhaps because it's in front of the station, it was fairly packed with nearby office workers even at weekday lunch As for service, the staff were rushing around, probably because they were busy; it didn't feel particularly attentive, but it didn't feel careless either, so it was neither good nor bad The soba was delicious, so we ordered 2 additional trays of mori soba I'd like to visit again if I get the chance
View on GoogleOn my way back from giving a talk nearby, the heat got to me and I wanted some cold soba, so I stopped here for the first time. I ordered cold tanuki soba. It had a firm bite while going down smoothly, making it just right for the season. The well-worn interior felt nostalgic and calm, a perfect space to take a breather. The staff were courteous too, so I felt comfortable even on my first visit. Next time I'd like to try the hot soba and set meals too. Whenever I'm nearby, I'd definitely like to stop in again. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleVisited for daytime drinks starting at lunchtime. The snacks, soba, and drinks are all delicious. The interior makes it hard to tell whether it's day or night, giving it a nice escape-from-everyday-life feel!
View on GoogleAbove all, the staff's service is careless…, the food takes ages to arrive, and they forgot ordered items 2 times. They even tried to cover it up…. Haha Well, the sake is good quality and the food is reasonably tasty too, but if you ask whether it's worth the price…, that's a tough sell. The cleanliness was questionable starting with the entrance stairs, and it used to be a good place back when the Kichijoji branch existed, but it's disappointing how much the quality has declined. Anyway, the staff are careless! lol That's all….
