I bought a bento here before going to Inokashira Park. They fry the food after you order, so you can eat it while it is warm. The price was reasonable, the food was delicious, and the bento was very satisfying. Besides the bento, I also ordered chicken, cheese, and shiso rolls and crab cream croquettes. Both had crispy coatings and were very delicious. Payment is cash only!

A neighborhood bento shop run by a few ladies. Good value for the price, with substantial rice and side dishes. The flavors are very straightforward and classic too. A shop I would like to use again.

The staff were helpful, which made me want to buy from them again! The karaage bento was also generous and delicious.

A long-established bento shop. I like the karaage bento here because it reminds me of the karaage from the bento shop I used to eat at when I was a student. I also like everyone at the shop because they are all friendly and charming, and if you are going to buy a convenience-store bento for about the same price, I definitely recommend Sawadaya’s bento instead! It can get quite busy around lunchtime.

I visited for lunch on a weekday. Ordered chicken nanban! 690円 Waited about 10 minutes. They fry it after you order, so it is piping hot 👍 Many people order the nori and karaage bento. I kept hearing “nori-kara!” While waiting, the flickering fluorescent light bothered me. 💦
