A Chinese restaurant in town! I opened the door lured by the smell of curry, but unfortunately they were in the middle of preparation. It's a Chinese restaurant that also has Western food on the menu, but I ordered ramen and fried rice. This is probably ramen that feels nostalgic to Tokyoites of the Showa era. According to the owner, 'Our curry is not inferior to ○○ (a famous shop)'. Next time I want to eat curry rice.
View on GoogleRamen with egg for 590 yen. Simple shoyu ramen, there shouldn't be anyone who hates it. Smoking is allowed throughout, and the owner seems to smoke too, puffing away in the customer seats. Well, since it's his own shop, I can't complain, but I wanted him to wait until after the meal was finished...
View on GoogleSlightly sweet, rich shoyu ramen. The noodles are soft but delicious in a junk food way. It seems they sometimes close much earlier than the business hours on the storefront. Next time I want to order the Western food menu.
View on GoogleThe noodles are curly and have no chewiness at all... no, these must be instant dried noodles w. When I entered the old couple's shop at lunchtime, other customers' bowls were still left on the counter... When I remembered a manga that said 'Shops like this serve lukewarm water because they think about the customer's stomach' (e.g. Notari Matsutaro), lukewarm water actually came out (mid-summer August). Well, I don't think I'll be back.
View on GoogleVery nostalgic, comforting ramen. The fried rice is also delicious. There is no parking and the shop is only a counter, so it might be difficult to come with a family.
