Brilliant!
View on GoogleI ordered Joten Seiro, and while waiting, I ordered Tsururei sake from Minamiuonuma, Niigata in a half-size (0.5 go). It tasted dry and was very nice. Joten Seiro comes with banana tempura, which was delicious and had an interesting flavor. I always enjoy eating here.
View on GoogleMarch '24 visit. A soba shop in Mitaka. I usually buy soba and tempura for New Year's, but this was my first time eating inside in about 3 years. It's been a while and the menu has evolved with more variety. (The menu has a lot of information for a soba shop). The prices also feel like they've gone up quite a bit. Now you can order and pay via smartphone, so it's more advanced. They've always been quick to adopt new services. Even so, the staff are all friendly. I ordered the Ni-hachi Seiro (large) with 'devil's whisper'. The soba is consistently delicious as always. The 'devil's whisper' has plenty of ingredients (vegetables) and the dipping sauce is delicious, just as the menu says, it's addictive. It's a bit silly, but I definitely recommend it. I'd like to visit more often.
View on GoogleI came for lunch. Since it was past 12 o'clock, it was full, but after waiting a little, I was able to get in. Even on a hot day, they provide umbrellas and mist from the tap, so I was able to wait in the cool. I ordered the value lunch set. They grind the flour and make the soba in-house. The soba is chewy and very delicious. The atmosphere of the shop, the tableware, and the staff are all wonderful. This is a shop I want to recommend to others. I want to come again.
View on GoogleA soba shop with atmosphere. I had the tempura soba. Since it was a very cold day, I chose hot soba. The tempura was mainly vegetables, fried in sesame oil until crispy. Salt is provided if you like. Dipping it in the soba broth makes it soft. Very elegant. The soba broth is Kanto-style with a strong acidity, but that's what makes it good. The noodles are a bit soft because it's hot soba. It had a very gentle texture in the mouth. It's quite a high-end soba. Elegant and delicious.
