This is one of those charming local restaurants that will surprise you with its incredible flavors. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a delightful culinary escape. One standout dish is the delicious soup, featuring gooey cheese, homemade noodles, and a fresh egg. Every spoonful is a comforting blend of textures and tastes, leaving you thoroughly satisfied. To complement the meal, a sip of refreshing green tea is all you need. What more could you ask for?The food here is not only tasty but also served with warmth and friendliness, making the entire experience truly pleasant. The flavors of this dish will linger in your memory long after the meal is over. Simply yummy! :)
View on GoogleAsk for their soba noodle with cheese and thank me later :)
View on GoogleI put an egg into the bubbling jjigae hot pot, but in the end it just gets all mushed up inside and turns mellow, so getting it soft-boiled is basically impossible The soba was a big portion, personally Next time I think a smaller one would be fine Though, it says they can reheat it, but the owner? is unfriendly and the vibe is too scary to ask, so no way I like it piping hot, but since you add soba that's been chilled in water, it doesn't stay hot for long Maybe good for people who can't handle hot food Would be nice if the soba had an atsumori (served warm) option too lol
View on GoogleCame in, drawn by the unique combo of jjigae with fresh soba and the high review ratings. Around 11:30, the place was still empty. They said there's a free topping service for following on Instagram, so I asked for extra motsu, and a middle-aged male staff member said, "I already heated the soup. You've got to tell me a bit earlier." Uh, how was I supposed to know that. What a first-timer killer. Anyway, the meat jjigae soba arrived. Looks tasty. Right as I went into my noodle-slurping motion, he put out the extra topping saying "Here's the motsu." I'm slurping noodles, so I can't answer right away. Then he follows up, repeating more forcefully, "Yes, here's the motsu." What the heck, is this a fighting game? Is he the type who waits for my post-motion freeze and lands a punch→kick combo? He dealt damage to my guts with offal. The motsu itself was tender and tasty. I went with the recommended spice level 2 for the jjigae. The first bite felt pretty spicy, but once I got used to it, it was just right. The soba also had a strong aroma that held its own against the jjigae. The meat jjigae soba had plenty of meat, and I enjoyed it together with the motsu. Precisely because the food was good, the motsu attack was a letdown.
View on GoogleI had something unusual called jjigae soba. The spicy jjigae hot pot went perfectly with the firm, chewy soba, and it was delicious! The place seems to be loved by locals, and it was bustling with regulars.
