2025/08/21 5th visit Visited for dinner. There are lots of menu options, so even a large group will be very satisfied. Everything was delicious, from Japanese to Chinese food, and from meat to fish. The tantanmen has an addictive flavor too. Definitely want to come again 2025/02/04 1st visit 2025年4月2日 3rd visit Menchi katsu & onion pork steak 1100円 The menchi katsu was juicy, and the demi-glace sauce was mellow and very delicious. Not at all overly greasy or heavy. The pork steak was delicious too. Want to go again 2025年1月 1st visit Katsu curry udon 1200円 A very generous portion, with delicious katsu, udon, and curry that left nothing to complain about. It also came with salad, an onsen egg, and rice, making it a very satisfying lunch set. For a 1200円 lunch, there was nothing to fault, and it seemed to have plenty of regulars. There is quite a variety on the menu too, so I definitely want to come again

Customers kept coming nonstop afterward too—such a popular place♪ . The wide variety of dishes and great value explain its popularity♪ There were so many options I couldn't decide, so I asked the staff for a recommendation and went with the Collaboration A set🍚 . They took my order while I was still outside, so it arrived right after I sat down. So efficient🙌 . Their signature menchi katsu is shaped like a rugby ball and covered in demi-glace sauce, and the karaage pieces are big too😳 The miso soup is packed with ingredients, and apparently you can get rice refills. It really feels like a hearty meal! A very satisfying lunch😇 . The friendly staff were wonderfully quick and efficient with everything from taking orders to seating people⭐︎ . Visited for lunch around 11:45 on a weekday. The place already felt full, so it's better to go a little earlier ※When I left around 12:20, there were 7,8 people in line There are lots of things I like on the menu I'd like to try them all I had the menchi katsu curry. It could have been spicier, but the menchi katsu was delicious.

I went to 竹屋, which I'd been curious about for a while～ It was around 11:40 on a weekday, and I just barely managed to get a seat. You decide your order at the entrance, then they show you to your seat. (The already rather cramped tables for 4 are further divided into seats for 2 with acrylic partitions, so it's very tight) I had today's limited collaboration set meal, pork ginger & karaage for 1,000円. The pork ginger tasted great～ The meat was springy and juicy, with a strong ginger flavor, and delicious with the generous serving of cabbage. The karaage was crispy and juicy too, nothing to fault～ Next time I'd like to try the Unzen ham katsu.

Visited in ２０２３年4月 Ordered something called a seared liver steak rice bowl? ¥１０００ that I'd been curious about for a while. It was quite sinewy, and the sauce overpowered everything so I couldn't taste the liver. It has kimchi in it too. It does feel like something you can only eat here. ２０２３年３月 Visited ２ days in a row Has a homemade feel and is reasonably tasty. Generous portions too. (Rice and miso soup refills available) The sashimi is popular and sells out early. The ham katsu was small, which was a little disappointing.
