This is a Chinese restaurant in Tamachi・Mita. I ordered negi char siu men and pan-fried gyoza. The ramen noodles were cooked slightly firm, and the broth was light. The vegetables in the gyoza retained their texture rather than being mashed into a paste, which I liked.

Visited early on Saturday evening. I lived nearby and used to come here more than 15 years ago. When I dropped in after such a long time, I met someone from the shop I remembered, which made me twice as happy(^^) My child and I will visit again(^ ^)

The service was awful. When I entered 15 minutes before my reservation (15 minutes after opening), they made an unpleasant face and said, “You're early.” At checkout, I told a staff member who appeared to be Chinese that I wanted to use PayPay, but we couldn't communicate well because of issues with Japanese. They responded rudely with things like “Huh?” and “I don't understand what you mean.” In the end, I was even charged for the gyoza that were supposed to be free with a coupon, making the food taste bad to me. I didn't think the food was good to begin with either: the fried rice was greasy and sticky, and the pan-fried gyoza were limp, with quality that made me wonder whether they were cutting corners. I'll never come back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. In fact, it was bad enough that I'd want to introduce it as a place people shouldn't go.

The shop looks reasonably clean, but what stands out is the generous portions typical of a student neighborhood. They're simply huge. The nearby Chinese restaurant 大連 also serves large portions, but this place is no less generous, perhaps even more so. Putting portion sizes aside, the best thing is the cheerful, kind, chatty proprietress, who is probably from a Chinese-speaking region. If you enjoy interacting with the people at a restaurant, you'll surely enjoy it here.

Large servings of rice or noodles are free, so I thought lunch here was good value(^^) The almond tofu has an almond agar-jelly texture, and I think the syrup is rather sweet, but… There are other dishes I'd like to try, so I'd like to come again.
