Wow, what a fantastic place! As an ignorant tourist, I came here to buy Yamato Transport Co. logo merch (and in the end I did that a bit as well.) The museum is free, and it gives an excellent insight into the history of the Yamato Transport Co., over the past 100 years. It is also an excellent insight into Japanese corporate culture, at least from a certain angle. The exhibit was created with heart, and with great attention to detail, I found it really captivating! Some parts have some English description, but if you are really interested, do take the audio guide! (I regretted that I didn't.) The staff was also extremely nice, and the museum has some interactive parts, mostly appropriate for children and families. Still, one of the most worthwhile trip I took in Tokyo! Also, the area with the rivers is really pleasant, calm, and a unique Tokyo thing that is well worth at least a short walk!
View on GoogleIf you enjoy company museums, then this is good for you. No fees. There is enough in English to keep me interested. They have a section that children would find interesting.
View on GoogleFree of charge. Staff is very kind and well trained. Walking amongst the exhibitions, it is plain to see how proud they are with their rich company history. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Not all companies can survive to tell such a story
View on GoogleReally cute and informative free museum for the Yamato black cat delivery service group! If you ask they will provide an iPad with multi lingual audio, although I didn’t find it as useful as just using Google translate image. The interactive section was super fun and worth it!
View on GoogleOne of the best free or nearly free things do to in Tokyo! You have to sign in as a visitor for the museum, but the staff try their best to communicate in English for tourists! History spans 100+ years of Yamato Transport and has a hands on section on the 3rd floor! I loved it!
