Yakitorimiyagawa Akasaka
If you're looking for a yakitori restaurant around Tameike-Sanno Station or Akasaka Station, please visit "Yakitori Miyagawa Akasaka." Miyagawa, which began as a chicken wholesaler founded in 1949, carefully prepares expertly selected chicken skewer by skewer every day and grills it to fragrant perfection over binchotan charcoal. Our yakitori, which brings out the maximum flavor of each cut, pairs perfectly with sake and highballs carefully selected from all over Japan. We also recommend our signature "White Karaage," which has been loved by many customers since our founding. Light and crisp on the outside and surprisingly juicy on the inside, it's Miyagawa's pride and joy, and we hope you'll try it when you visit. Inside, we have counter seats where you can casually drop in after work…

Every skewer cooked to perfection and they had an English menu that was close to their Japanese ones. Even for my partner who doesn’t like offals parts has decided to try since they look so juicy and fresh. White chicken is a must order, can’t imagine that chicken fried to be so light and fluffy …
View on GoogleYakitori Miyagawa Yakitori Miyagawa is one of my favorite yakitori/karaage places in Tokyo. A little about the restaurant, during the weekday lunch hour this is a karaage only place, and it is some of the best karaage I have had. At night, it converts into a yaktori place. The yakitori is delicious, and the prices are reasonable considering the neighborhood the restaurant is located in. If you plan to come for dinner be sure to have a reservation as it will be impossible to get a seat. If you come during the lunch hour, plan to wait, or come early or late (11:30 or 13:00). I recommend all the yakitori plates (at least the ones I had were all delicious), and if you come for dinner get a karaage appetizer and the curry potato salad. The restaurant is located in Akasaka intercity air, B1, but they do a great job of making the interior seem like a true yakitori place on a side street in Tokyo. Love this place!
View on GoogleYakitorimiyagawa Akasaka offers a delightful culinary experience that truly satisfies. My wife and I have made it a tradition to indulge in their White Fried Chicken Set Meal, and each visit leaves us thoroughly impressed. Arriving early has been key to avoiding the bustling lunchtime rush, allowing us to relish in the serene atmosphere and attentive service. The star of the show, the "white fried chicken," is a culinary masterpiece. Crispy on the outside, tender and succulent on the inside, with flavors that burst with every bite. The hot meat juices harmonize perfectly with the delicately seasoned batter, creating a symphony of taste sensations. Pairing it with their homemade ponzu sauce elevates the experience even further, with its citrusy tang enhancing the chicken's richness. Beyond the exceptional food, the ambiance exudes warmth and authenticity, making every meal feel like a special occasion. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Yakitorimiyagawa Akasaka promises a memorable dining experience that keeps you coming back for more.
View on GoogleArrived at near 9pm and we were told “chotto matte”, then no one served or letted us in. We though we were in the line but obviously the staff would serve local Japanese first while didn't care about us foreigners. We had kept waiting for more than 20mins until we noticed many Japanese cut into the line and got the seats before us. So asking the staff again and finally had the seat. Disappointed to have such a experience as we were heading to the place specifically for yakitori
View on GoogleKichihei ginger soda: They explained that it was a rare and particular ingredient, but as far as I drank it, I did not get a special sense of its high quality. I was expecting a homemade lemonade-like experience, but it was a little disappointing. Namami Sparkling: the pouring performance with the sake-like Masu was innovative. The taste was average, but it was a nice touch to add to the sizzle. Spearhead lotus root: the preparation of this dish changed the image of the brick, and the fact that the ingredients were shown in advance made it seem even more valuable. Oven-baked onions from Awaji Island: carefully prepared and very sweet on the inside, but 980 yen for just being from Awaji Island is too expensive, and the cost performance is too bad. Shirokara (momo): I think it's admirable that they reproduce the taste of the main restaurant and that you can order from just one piece, but I still think that 240 yen for one piece of fried bean curd is not a good value for money.
