It felt like locals dined here. Very relaxed and welcoming. We had 10 yakitori skewers (various chicken cuts, quail eggs) which were grilled to perfection, but skipped the raw chicken sashimi. The miso soup at the end was incredible and the best we had in Tokyo.

Delicious Yakitori! This is a master that turns a simple chicken into an orchestra of various textures and flavors. Every stick tasted different from the previous one and we could never guess which part of the chicken we were eating because of how well the chef cooked it. Every stick is like an explosion of flavor in the mouth. Everyone in the restaurant makes us feel welcome even when we don’t speak the same language too. Highly recommended!!

Great Yakitori Spot Near Tameike-Sanno Station Like many other commenters, I completely forgot to take pictures, the food was just too tempting! I really love the balance and attention to detail at this place. I ordered the 7-piece yakitori set, and each skewer delivered a unique flavor journey, starting with light salt and gradually moving to richer, saucier tastes. The progression is thoughtful and enhances the overall experience. I highly recommend trying the “Obi” skewer. It strikes a perfect balance between the firmer, chewier part of the chicken and the juicy richness from natural fats. Absolutely delicious. What stands out most to me is how well-portioned each skewer is the size and chewiness of the chicken are just right, making every bite satisfying. The staff here are super friendly(especially mr. Bun), which adds to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. A quick tip: try to arrive before 18:30. It gets quite crowded after that, and service can slow down a bit as the place fills up. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

What a fantastic place. A little bit hidden away, but go through some of the reviews and you’ll get there. Chef Yamasan and his team provide an excellent experience. We tried the “chef recommended course” / “Kagaribi 10pon course” which changes on a daily basis. I’m not as adventurous as some so I had the chef swap out 1 or 2 pieces. The appetizer was super tasty also. Please try their home made lemon sour!!

Great experience! Kind staff. Various styles of chicken skewers were delicious. They did also offer chicken sashimi which we declined.
