I went to this Yakiniku restaurant last Tuesday. It was a excellent experience, owner is kind and introduced kinds of dishes. The quality of meat is good. And definitely will return again.
View on GoogleReally excellent Yakiniku place! Not very suited to tourists (no English menu), you need to know to say suimasen to order, etc… but customer service was top notch and the meat was high quality. Also recommend their kimchi and garlic fried rice. We broke out the google translate app and with some pointing we had a great time!
View on Google【Highlights】 🔹A hidden, casual yakiniku spot found in a Toranomon back alley! 🔹All the meat used is A4-grade Kuroge Wagyu✨ 🔹Counter-style yakiniku where you can casually drop in Just a short distance from Toranomon Station! Step into a back alley and you'll find a scattering of places with a slightly retro feel. Atago Yakiniku was in just such an area, with a traditional neighborhood atmosphere that makes it easy to drop in! Apparently this yakiniku restaurant is run by “Flying Tiger,” the long-established Italian restaurant on the 1st floor, founded in 1967! Inside, office workers were having a lively time after work. 𓈒 𓏸 𓐍┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈𓈒 𓏸 𓐍 Here's what we ordered 🔸Salted tongue 1,200円 🔸Kimchi 500円 🔸Assorted grilled vegetables 650円 🔸Fillet (salt) 3,500円 🔸Harami (sauce) 1,450円 🔸Specially selected short ribs 1,700円 🔸Garlic fried rice 700円 First, a toast with kimchi and lemon sour! Everything is reasonably priced, and knowing it's all A4 Kuroge Wagyu got me so excited! You can keep eating without worrying about the prices✨ Now, the first meat was salted tongue. Apparently this shares the top popularity spot with harami. The slices were thicker than I expected and really satisfying💕 So springy and delicious〜 Enjoyed with a little squeeze of lemon😍 The grilled vegetables came with special miso. The little kick of heat and sweet-spicy miso worked nicely. The eagerly awaited fillet〜! This was thick-cut and generously portioned too! So luxurious〜 Isn't this great value at this price? Once the surface is nicely cooked, dip it in salt and eat! S-s-so tender! And the amount of fat is just right, amazing〜🤤 Next was harami (sauce) Apparently this is another popular cut! Give it a quick grill, immediately coat it in sauce, and eat. The sauce is apparently a secret sweet-spicy recipe. A 100-point match with the meat. Then I tucked into it with the garlic fried rice😍 This combination is unfairly good! The fragrant garlic aroma makes it even more delicious〜 Finally, we finished with short ribs. The sauce had soaked into the beautiful pink meat, which we grilled briefly and ate as it was💕 Everything was delicious, so I was completely satisfied. The kind of place I'd like to drop into for a meal anytime☺️ Thank you for the meal! Check out my other posts too if you'd like〜 @foodie_ol_diary
View on GoogleA small place on the 2nd floor in a Toranomon back alley. The restaurant downstairs is called Hungry Tiger, and apparently they run this yakiniku spot. I like glamorous places serving French food and such, but I also love warm, casual places like this. Somehow it's relaxing. Inside, counter seats line up in a U around the kitchen, and I like this casual counter-yakiniku style. Each person gets a small iron griddle on the counter, so the individual yakiniku setup is good for infection prevention too. 【My recommended dishes】 ■Specially selected short ribs Apparently all the meat here is A4-grade Kuroge Wagyu. It's lovely to enjoy delicious, healthy meat, and even women can eat plenty of this!! The dipping sauce is delicious, fruity and slightly sweet, which I think would appeal to women! ■Premium salted tongue The refreshing salted tongue is tender but has a nice bite too! It was delicious with lemon, so I ordered another portion. ■Spicy soup Besides the meat, this soup was delicious too! A nicely spicy soup packed with vegetables, egg, and meat. It's superb. The prices were very reasonable, and I was also impressed by how quickly the dishes arrived, making everything stress-free. I liked the owner's manner too.
View on GoogleI had a yakiniku lunch costing over 1000円 at “Yakiniku Atago” on the 2F of Toranomon's famous “Hungry Tiger.” There was a huge lunch queue for Hungry Tiger… Then the “Casual Yakiniku” sign beside it caught my eye, and I went straight in. There were 4 menu options, and I ordered the “Meat trimmings lunch 1100円(2021年2月).” The sign listed extra meat for 250円 and extra meat W for 500円. When it arrived, I experienced a mild culture shock: the meat was already grilled and served on a plate. It was tender and delicious. But with no extra sauce on the table, the sauce flavor gradually faded, and the meat got colder and tougher, so I'd suggest eating at full speed. Soup and rice refills are free, and the soup is very tasty. I think even men can eat their fill.
