Wolfgang’s Steakhouse by Wolfgang Zwiener - Signature Aoyama
Airy, sophisticated steakhouse serving hearty meat & seafood dishes, plus an extensive wine list.
"The 'Ultimate Steakhouse' That Wows Gourmets" Wolfgang's Steakhouse was founded in Manhattan in 2004 by Wolfgang Zwiener, who worked for over 40 years at a prestigious NY steakhouse before going independent. Thanks to the deliciousness of its carefully crafted steaks, it quickly became a thriving restaurant. "Prime Grade" beef, certified as top quality by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) grading, is aged long-term in a dedicated aging room. As beef ages, the meat's own enzymes make its texture more tender, while at the same time proteins break down and the amino acids that give umami increase. The meat, made tender and full of umami by this long dry aging, is cut thick…

Impeccable service, friendly, courteous and professional staff. The Japanese Akaushi Beef really lives up to its name, medium rare melts in your mouth and is highly recommended. The Aoyama Signature outlet is our 2nd visit following our Roppongi outlet visit few years back when we were in Tokyo and happy to say food, service and quality is kept to our memory of our 1st experience.
View on GoogleAbsolutely disgusting behavior from the waiters. Walked in just to be rudely commanded to put our umbrellas outside. After, the other male staff talked to us in a tone as we were some peasant. Just to be clear, I have been to some of the best michelin star restaurants in the world and never been so badly treated. Later, there were so many table seats available but they told us there were only counter seats available. After eating, I looked around and saw the same empty tables. Never coming back again this absolute disgrace to Wolfgang's Steakhouse.
View on GoogleDeclined sharply since the manager appears to have left and the place is now run by amateurish kids; forgot to bring out bread, drink etc. Walks around like a robot with typically Japanese soulless faces. Felt like a wanna-be American fast food chains that you see in Shibuya.
View on GoogleExcellent steak, atmosphere and service. I have been to all of the Wolfgang’s in Tokyo and this one had an excellent layout, large bar/lounge area and impressive wine cellar/list!
View on GoogleOne of few places open past 8PM. Excellent service and food as always. You do pay for what you get, but it's still the best steak in town.
