Honestly serviceable tacos and drinks, even though I would never come out of my way to eat this. I was staying at Shinagawa Prince, and needed somewhere to eat past 9:30pm. Forget about authenticity and fair pricing for a minute, this spot is located in a tourist trap mall next to a freaking all-in-one tourist resort/hotel. They thrive off of tourism, domestic AND international. You won’t find any regular priced food in this mall, nor within 100m of it. Serving size is decent. I left feeling decently full. If you find yourself in the area somewhat past regular dinner time, just want something to stuff your stomach with that’s not convenience store food, and are ok with spending $10 for 2 tacos, go for it. If you’re looking for gourmet or authentic hole-in-the-wall soul food, go visit Leo’s Taco Truck or something in LA. Save yourself some time.
View on GoogleIf you’ve lived in Latin America or you’re from the Southwest, you already know what makes a great taco. There’s a science to it—the balance of acidity from lime or pineapple, the onions bringing sweetness, the cilantro tying it together. When it’s done right, you get layers: corn base, savory meat, then that bright, sweet-acid finish. Now throw all of that out the window and let’s talk about the genius that is Wired Tacos Club Tokyo. Atmosphere: The music jumps from LL Cool J to The Strokes. For being in a corpo district, that says a lot—it’s got real personality. Drinks: Great selection of local craft beer, and they actually serve proper tequila. Food: Appetizer: Chips and guacamole mixed with cilantro and high-quality olive oil. I know—sounds wrong—but it works. Salsa: Basically chopped tomatoes. The “extra hot” version just adds hints of Cholula. Skip it and stick with the guacamole. Tacos: Meat, beans, and… macaroni & cheese. Yes, seriously. Hold your judgment—it somehow works. Are they winning a Michelin star? No. But will you leave full and satisfied? Absolutely. The ceviche also looked solid—trying that next time. Summary: If you’re looking for a cantina-style spot with good local beer and decent tequila in Tokyo, this is your place.
View on GoogleSalmon and avocado lomi lomi tacos: small portion, flat taste. Not bad but not great. Vegan tacos eggplant bolognese: they were not bad, but wouldn’t order again. Crazy potatoes: they were tasty, a bit sweet and spicy. Squid garlic steak: I liked it. Well balanced flavours, soft texture. When I visited (5pm on a weekday), it was not crowded.
View on GoogleThis restaurant is located on the Takanawa side of Shinagawa station. Ordered me some Japanese style taco dish, taco rice, which is an excellent combination of tacos, salsa, salad and rice. They offer extra rice for free, but for a good balance, I'd stick with the normal size. The more you mix, the better it tastes. They even offer a vegan version for those who have dietary restrictions. Crowd Size: Average Payment Style: SUICA
View on GoogleWIRED Tacos Shinagawa was such a cozy and fun place to eat! I went there expecting just regular tacos, but the taste and presentation really surprised me — everything felt freshly made and full of flavor. The tacos were colorful, the portions just right, and the sauces added a nice kick. The atmosphere inside was stylish yet relaxed, perfect for a casual lunch or dinner. I also liked the friendly staff — they made me feel comfortable right away. It’s a great spot to chill, have good food, and enjoy the lively vibe of Shinagawa. I’d definitely love to go back and try more of their menu next time! 🌮💛
