At first I thing it is a tourism spot, in reality it is only a ship monumen inside the Campus building. You can't touch it either. It is located on the River side.

A big training ship. Love to be able to see history.

Marvelous ship exhibit, worthy of being designated as a registered national tangible cultural asset. No inside tour nor has a closer viewing point than from a walkway.

This is an old training ship located inside Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology. It seems it was relocated here in Showa 37 and designated a Registered Tangible Cultural Property in 1998. Now it sits quietly on the campus grounds, but it's quite a big ship and impressive.

I'd been curious about this ship you can see from the monorail, so I dropped by while visiting the museum. It was a big sailing ship. You can walk around the port and starboard sides and the stern. Since the masts are tall, it's a bit tough to get a full shot from up close.
