2024/11/XX (Cafe) After watching university rugby at 秩父宮ラグビー場, my routine is to spend some cafe time at 「カフェ・ベローチェ」 along スタジアム通り, but that day the line extended outside, so I decided to make my first visit here, a place I'd bookmarked earlier. It's just one street off 246通り, but there are few passersby and the atmosphere is quiet. Pets and smoking were allowed on the terrace. I rang the call bell at the register and said I'd be using the terrace seating. The staff brought the menu and water. I ordered this. ■Iced coffee@650円 (tax included) The iced coffee lacks body and aroma. For this quality, the price feels a little high. The interior is slightly dark, but the atmosphere lets you spend time quietly. Rugby players' autographs and uniforms were displayed inside, so I spoke briefly with a staff member, who turned out to be a rugby fan, and we chatted a little. My friend ordered draft beer. The drinks menu also has alcohol such as draft beer and wine, and smoking is allowed on the terrace, so there seem to be various ways to use the place. Thank you for the meal.

In this extreme heat, unbelievably, the air conditioning was barely working. Other customers also commented on it, and some people were using handheld fans or electric fans. I couldn't stop sweating either because it was so hot. What I overheard about the air conditioning was, "This area is close to the door, so when the door opens, it gets hot. Sorry." But after leaving, I realized it actually felt cooler outside because there was a breeze. →Still, one-sided criticism isn't good, so I also thought, "It's electronic equipment, so perhaps it suddenly broke down in the last few days?" But, a Google review from 3 years ago also mentioned the air conditioning, so I felt this didn't seem like a problem that simply couldn't be addressed. On Saturday afternoon in 外苑前, every cafe was full thanks to the prime location, and this was the 4th place we tried before finally finding somewhere. The exterior and interior are stylish, and the toilets look clean, but what about failing to address the air conditioning in midsummer? As others have reviewed, the lady serving the tables is beautiful, but I couldn't help finding her unfriendly. The coffee is also 600円 despite the portion being far from generous. The heat made it impossible to focus on talking with my friend, and even though this was the 4th place before we finally got in somewhere, we decided to leave after about 20 minutes without finishing our drinks. Because the location is good and alternatives are hard to find, people still come, and I got the impression that's precisely why they haven't improved things. It left me feeling bothered and dissatisfied. There are comments saying the food (rice dishes and cakes) is delicious, so perhaps visiting in autumn would give a different impression. However, I feel air conditioning in midsummer is the bare minimum for someone providing a place to stay, so this is my rating.

Visited for lunch. Rugby autographs and uniforms are displayed inside. Ordered the croquette & menchi katsu set. 1200円. The menu said, "Please enjoy Kobe beef and our original blend coffee," so I assumed coffee was included, but it cost extra. The rice tended to stick together. It seems to be run by one woman alone, so perhaps it would be harsh to expect too much.
