築地 刺天Tsukiji Toge Ten
"Tsukiji Sashiten is an izakaya where you can enjoy seafood dishes and tempura. Located a 2-minute walk from Toranomon Station, it is open from lunch through dinner. We provide a relaxing dining space in the Toranomon area. Every morning, we source seafood delivered directly from Toyosu Market. Freshness is our priority for sashimi, and we also offer live abalone sashimi and live kuruma prawns to eat. Live kuruma prawns are available for 100円 and live abalone sashimi for 400円. We keep prices low so as many people as possible can enjoy them. Our tempura uses a technique that reduces the oil absorbed by the ingredients by about 50%, creating a light, crispy texture that is gentle on the body…

Absolutely phenomenal meal! We’ve lived here for 3 year and this was by far the best tempura we’ve had in Japan. The sashimi was also fantastic. The little fried shrimp are a must and the drink set is a great deal. Service was warm and friendly despite our language barrier. Can’t wait to go back and have another meal!
View on GoogleI went for lunch. The famous menu is a rice bowl with fresh sashimi. I took a fish fry plate and its not really really good but ok.

Because they source carefully selected seafood from the market without middlemen, you can fully enjoy fresh seafood✨ The “Kaisen-don Ao” I had this time was packed with 11 toppings, including white fish, scallops, ikura, and anago. The seafood covering the entire bowl looked gorgeous and got me excited the moment it arrived! What stood out most were the 3 types of tuna: akami, chutoro, and scraped tuna. The akami had a robust umami, the chutoro had sweet fat that melted in the mouth, and the scraped tuna delivered a rich depth, each offering a different deliciousness. Another attraction is that you can enjoy this seafood bowl in 3 ways! First, enjoy the seafood and rice as they are to savor the ingredients' natural flavors. Next, mix the egg yolk and soy sauce and add it to the bowl. It adds a mellow richness, transforming it into something like a luxurious seafood yukhoe bowl. Finally, leave a little rice and pour over the dashi for an ochazuke-style finish. The seafood umami and dashi blend together, making it satisfying to the very end✨ One bowl, delicious three times over, a seafood bowl every seafood lover should try at least once! Great for an ordinary lunch, and also recommended as a treat when you want a little lunchtime luxury◎
View on GoogleThe “Seafood Bowl That's Delicious Three Times” I had this time lived up to its name, enjoyable to the very end. It was generously topped with fresh seafood delivered directly from the market, and every bite clearly conveyed the ingredients' umami. Another appeal is the 3 ways to eat it: first as a seafood bowl on its own, then mixed with egg yolk and soy sauce for a richer flavor, and finally with dashi poured over it, ochazuke-style. The changing flavors keep it delicious to the end without getting boring. The dashi was flavorful too, perfect for finishing. I also had the limited-quantity kuruma prawns and live abalone, both fresh and satisfying. I appreciated the service of frying and serving the prawn heads as well, and they paired wonderfully with alcohol. The interior has a calm atmosphere and seems welcoming for solo diners. It's also close to Toranomon Hills, making it convenient for lunch or a meal after work.
