We had dinner at this famous <i>yoshoku</i> restaurant inside Atre Shinagawa, next to the JR Shinagawa Station on first night in Tokyo after back from Kansai area. We ordered their famous Tsubame-style Hamburg Steak with steam rice, and special menu of <i>Demi-glace sauce Omurice</i> plus a glass of cold German Bitburger beer. The dishes are great, and we love both dishes and the beer drink ❤️. Total costs of the dinner meal was ¥ 5,600 inclusive of consumption tax and you can make payment with V/MC payment cards. This is quite good value for money since the dishes are so delicious and portion is quite generous. The place's ambience is good and you can sit at the bar or some tables. Most customers are local office workers who may finish their office hours and come from surrounding Shinagawa office buildings. Customer service from staff members are good as usual and you can ask whatever usual condiments used in the <i>yoshoku</i> dining like Tabasco pepper sauce. You can view the English menu or the plastic dish figurines in front of the restaurant to decide what you'd like to order.

The place is really nice, with a good variety of dishes and beers. I recommend the goulash beef hamburger, it's the signature of the restaurant.You can choose between bread or rice. I wish the waiter was a little bit fast, but it's ok. The lunch beer is delicious, very smooth.

Tsubame Kitchen is a famous restaurant located at Shinagawa Station. If you're a fan of hamburgers, it might be worth stopping by. During my visit, I opted for their signature dish, the Tsubame-style Hamburg steak. It's a recommended dish prominently displayed on the menu. I was particularly impressed with how juicy and delicious it was, and the whole potato served alongside was a delightful surprise. One thing to note about this restaurant is that due to its popularity, you might have to wait. The check-in process is automated, which can be a bit challenging for tourists from abroad, so please be cautious. Shinagawa Station is a major hub with Shinkansen (bullet train) services. If you have some time before your train, I highly recommend enjoying a hamburger here.
