Firstly the atmosphere of this place is amazing. I love the aesthetics. I got the an bun and cold hojicha. I did enjoy the a bun, I wish it was a little bigger. Maybe a little butter would elevator the flavor to another level. The red bean paste though was smooth and the right sweetness. There was a generous amount too, usually you don’t get a lot, but it was great. The tea was brewed in house and I enjoyed it. It definitely tasted richer than having a bottled tea for example. It’s also cheaper to get the bun + tea combo so it made sense to get both.

All three kinds of desserts here were ordered this time. The an paste is good with brown sugar and maple syrup. The bread is tasted soft like a chewy steamed bun. The baked toast fulled of red bean jam and brown sugar jam. They had toasted the chestnut bread after ordering. The chestnut smells so good and sweet. I liked it best of all three. And the drinks here were just ok. An matcha milk tea was sweet and ice houjicha was flat. Finally it’s a cute store and you can bring some jams home.

A very simple neighborhood coffee, serving simple small bites and cakes. Came here for brunch, not crowded at all during Sunday. Very chill environment, staff are very polite yet attentive. Ordered their set menu, ilthe set menu you get to choose either coffee or tea, simple salad bowl or mushroom soup, and sandwich loaf slice with red bean paste or small bun. Coffee did not amaze me, just very simple coffee. Mushroom soup not too bad, but what amazed me was their redbean paste. If you like to chill, prefer not too crowded place, can stop by and relax.

Chilled and somewhat unique cafe, serving an based drinks and desserts. Fun and cute tiger theme and logo dotted around the two-storey cafe. Friendly staff in their pristine white uniforms. Had the an matcha latte, which was tasty with its light an flavouring adding additional texture and character.

We chance upon this cafe. The red bean paste was exceptionally fine. The cold coffee and matcha we ordered had a layer of red bean paste which made the taste interesting and inviting if you have a sweet tooth. We had to add some water to dilute the matcha which was then perfect. A good place to chill. Their signature was the saved ice but we needed our caffeine!
