One of the nicest tonkatsu I have had in Japan. No frills just honest food served by 2 of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to be served by. Shoji-san and his wife are lovely, they have been in the Tonkatsu restaurant for 50 years. It is clean and you can see the cooking from your seat. Very reasonable prices for both the food and the drink. Small menu and also in English and they are really good at trying to speak to us ingnorant foreigners! I had a similar meal for twice the price in Shinjuku and this was the better. A really nice place in a very busy area. Awards and copies of local media pieces dot the walls and even their souvenirs of travels over the years. Fantastic

It was some delicious Tonkatsu!!! About 15 minutes after ordering, we got our food, which was one tonkatsu menu and one green onion Tonkatsu menu (Tonkatsu filled with green onions) and they were very tasty. The service was great and the elderly couple who runs the place were very nice! I would definitely recommend this place if you want some authentic, yummy Japanese meal!!!!!

The owner was really nice. He gave us an English menu and explained the most popular options. The cabbage was cut very thin and was soft and easy to eat. The katsu was so crispy and tender. I’m so happy I came across this place

Food was ok. The Vladimir Putin poster inside was also interesting. Maybe they are fans.

I could say this is an authentic tonkatsu experience in Japan. A lot of locals eat here for lunch time. There’s lots of seating upstairs.
