Good taste, service and view. The view from this cafe is truly neo Tokyo. The food menu is authentic and satisfying. The ordering system is also foreigner-friendly with a QR code that can be read with a smart phone.
View on GoogleWent on the same day to TOKYO NODE DINING and then to the CAFE. The service in the DINING restaurant is great but it's not cheap (not crazy expensive either) and, even though the views are nice, you cannot see Tokyo Tower. On the other hand, I found CAFE very cheap (burgers are Y1500, coffee and dessert Y1100), and there is a lovely outdoor terrace with views to the Tokyo Tower. Moreover, it's not very busy even on weekends. Definitely recommend it. UPDATE: Visited again 2 years later (Golden Week 2026) and the terrace area was closed because it was very windy. But there were plenty of seats available inside during lunch time (12:30) and the prices have not increased which is nice too see as most of Japan's restaurants have gone up by 20-50%. Sandwiches, curry, etc. Y1300 and desert with coffee Y1100.
View on GoogleWent for lunch-- ordered a burger, lasagna, cake, and one of their specialty drinks. Burger was serviceable, the fries it came with were pretty good. On the other hand, the lasagna was terrible. Wettest lasagna I've ever had, and the cheese selection used was completely unsuitable in taste (not to mention very nonstandard). Pasta sheets were too thick as well. Absolutely regretted ordering it. Dessert and drink were good. Stick to those if you wish to visit. Were it not for the lasagna, I'd likely rate it 3.4/5 instead.
View on GoogleHad a great lunch at Toranomon Hills! I chose the beef hamburger, which seems to be their best dish. You can order everything through QR code so there's no language wall. The place has a smart look with mirrors that make everything feel open. You can see Tokyo Tower from there. It’s not super close, but you can still see it clearly. Even though it rained and the sky was gray, the view of the tower was still clear. I'm excited to see what it looks like at night, but it’s already pretty amazing during the day!
