Fantastic sports bar with an amazing atmosphere! I had a great time here watching Spain win the World Cup. The energy was incredible, with passionate fans, great drinks, and a lively crowd that made the experience unforgettable. The staff were friendly, the service was fast, and it was the perfect place to enjoy such a historic football moment. If you’re looking for a fun place to watch live sports in Tokyo, I highly recommend it!

I walked in and there was no sign indicating that smoking was allowed 😳. Food and smoke are a terrible combination, and I honestly felt like walking out after I had already ordered. I decided to stay and finish my meal quickly, but what a horrible place. If you’re a smoker who wants a drink at the same time, I’m sure it’s perfect—but for the rest of us who actually want to taste our food, this is not good at all. The food portions were also very small, and the French fries were served on a sizzling hot plate, which made them unbearably hot for several minutes. I understand that for the chicken, but not for French fries—they should be served on the side. A frustrating and overall horrible experience. Again, their lack of English—even among the younger staff—didn’t help 😕

Came at 1130 when the opened and ordered the lunch chicken Ceasar. Fairly certain these salads were made the night before as the lettuce was wilted. However the chicken was tasty with a smoked flavor. The baguettes were cut in half to make it look like 2 pieces when it was actually just 1. It comes with a drink, but I do not like any of the options so I asked to buy a glass of wine. The gentleman didnt understand, thought I was trying to substitute alcohol for the free drink when I was just trying to buy a glass of wine. Sat at the bar and he yells the order back to the kitchen so he was basically screaming next to me. However, the decor is very nice. I personally will not be back

Today my husband and I wanted to go to a western bar and restaurant to have a nice lunch date, and we remembered that we came here with our friend once, we really liked it, so we came all the way here again. It was Saturday around 1.30pm, we didn’t make a reservation, but it wasn’t too many people, went we went in, the staff asked us to find a table we like to sit ourselves. Their lunch set and happy hour deal are really good. My husband ordered a big size “Today’s beer”, and the “Yonezawa beef classic cheese burger with coleslaw”. I ordered the “US ribeye roll steak”, also from a la cart menu the “BBQ buffalo wings”. We waited for around 20 minutes for the food, but we didn’t mind to wait, the beer came first, it tasted fruity and really good, even I like it very much. My husband’s cheese burger tasted good, I love how crispy the buns were. The coleslaw was very good too, wish we can order a big size for us. The chips were thick and crispy, we both like it. My steak was in good size, I was a bit worried that they might overcook it, because they didn’t asked me how do I like my steak, but the chef did an amazing job, perfect medium rare, exactly how I like it! And it tasted juicy and tender, perfect with the onion sauce. My chips were more thin and long, compared to my husband’s, I like mine better. Just such a shame that they don’t have mayonnaise, cause I love eating chips with ketchup and mayonnaise together. We ordered the BBQ buffalo wings, but they accidentally gave us the spicy flavour, we told them and they changed it for us. The wings were like half wings actually, a bit small, but the taste was very good, with a bit of the blue cheese sauce, yummy! We love the atmosphere here, and all of the food was delicious, we had an enjoyable lunch date, will definitely come back again.

We came to the Public Red establishment around lunchtime for a quiet drink and stayed for a few more than one each as the place was lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful, very professional and they were up for a quick chat when explaining the drinks also we had a snack ( cheese & mac) not very Japanese but we do love the mac and it was delicious. We enjoyed this bar so much we came back in the evening. Can't wait to return to enjoy the same service. Well done to the staff. We were in Akasaka May 2026. Deb & Ron
