It is just 2 mins walk from the new shimbashi station. The foundations are still intact and preserved. Check out the exhibitions and foundation stone and head to the backside for zero marker point which is the birthplace of the Japanese railway network from shimbashi to yokohama. Dont forget to collect the museum stamp.
View on GoogleNeat. Static displays are laid out in a small area. However all in Japanese and no photo allowed so I'd rather not take my phone out to get translation. A few train models, very nice to see.
View on GoogleNice museum of the old Shimbashi railways station lots of information but not in English on all displays. The staff are friendly but you cannot take pictures while inside the museum all in all a nice experience of Japanese rail history.
View on GoogleEasy to go and free of charge. For whoever interested in Trains.
View on GoogleFor English speakers, quick visit to the museum at the bottom. Collected our stamp then continued on our way.
