It’s a stand-up sushi restaurant. You eat at the counter. There is an ¥800 and ¥1000 set. I had the latter and it came with a mug of hot green tea and a miso soup. The chef prepares the sushi right in front of you — he used a blow torch on the eel, which was a pleasant surprise for me. The food is very tasty and a terrific value. Recommend for a quick lunch.
View on GoogleThe sushi was decent but the lady sounded very rude and was very angrily sounding talking about foreigners (gaijin) the whole time we were there, which spoiled the whole thing. Such a shame!

View on GoogleI finished my plans in Toranomon a little after 17:00. It was a bit early, but I thought I'd eat before heading home, and found this place while wandering around. It's a standing sushi restaurant with room for about 6 people. Prices vary by topping, but they're quite affordable. I started by ordering the premium nigiri assortment. It contained the following. Lean tuna, medium-fatty tuna, albacore, salmon, squid, shrimp, minced tuna and scallion gunkan, salmon roe gunkan, egg nigiri I also ordered horse mackerel, and overall it was very satisfying for the price. The freshness was quite good too, and it's impressive that they offer these prices in a prime location like Toranomon. I'd like to return for another quick sushi meal! Thank you for the meal. ▽----------------------------▽ ○Restaurant: 鮨処みやこ ○Tabelog rating 3.39 (as of 2026/02/17) ○4-minute walk from Toranomon Station ○Budget ¥3,000/1 person ○東京都港区西新橋1-19-8 ○Payment methods: cash, cards ○Opening hours [Monday–Friday]11:30 - 15:00/17:00 - 22:00 [Saturday]11:30 - 15:00/17:00 - 21:00 ※Closed: Sundays and holidays △----------------------------△ 【Reservations】 Not accepted 【Recommended occasions】 Solo 【Crowding】 No guests when I visited on Wednesday at 17:30. View on GoogleI visited 鮨処みやこ. I drive past the restaurant almost every day and had been curious, so I went in. My immediate impression on entering—the standing sushi name みやこ was also one reason I'd been curious—was that this was probably the restaurant that used to operate in the Shimbashi area, relocated here. The chef's face had aged quite a lot, but I think he's the same person. The previous restaurant had suddenly disappeared, so I was very happy to find it again here. The restaurant itself is simple, with only counter seating. I'd admired the very careful work ever since the previous location. Although the prices fall into an affordable range, you can enjoy sushi that conveys the chef's kindness through his meticulous work. There was just 1 thing that bothered me: the “agari” tea was too hot. It nearly burned me. I think many people like hot tea, but it could be a little cooler. I don't know what it's like during the busy lunch period, but I'm thinking of visiting again in the late afternoon. Please serve me delicious sushi again.
