The best and freshest sushi I’ve ever had. I could have sat there all day and ordered more. It was fun to sit at the counter and watch them make the sushi. One of the dishes they prepared for another customer was made using a fish they caught in the tank and filleted with on the spot.

Tasty sushi and good service in a bright open restaurant. This place is foreigner friendly. You can order in English via qr code. I ordered the こころ杂 set which came with miso soup, and additionally I ordered a piece of unagi and fatty salmon. An otooshi (?mackerel with daikon) was given but they charge you for it, ¥275. The unagi and fatty tuna were very good. I enjoyed most of the pieces in my set, except the cuttlefish? and shrimp, which I normally do not like raw. Service was attentive and good. The older sushi chef, looked over 80, was very cute and I was happy he made my pieces. I’m sure he has decades of experience! Return visit. This time I ordered the 極上まぐろざんまい and カキフライ. The otoro was delicious however the seared tuna was just ok. I’d give the set 3.5/5. The fried oyster was delicious (5/5).

A sushi restaurant with many energetic staff members. Perhaps because of its location, it stays bustling late into the night.

Easy going simple sushi and no frills. Not top top of the tops but quite a good medium range place for the family. Good simple lunch and predictable quality.

I felt like trying good quality sushi, but had no idea where to go to enjoy my meal without getting nervous about menu, order and location. I have been recommended Sushi Zanmai Roppongi Lapiros. I like that it is located literally right to the left from Oedo Line Roppongi Station exit 3! No need to worry about finding it! I often get tired and mood switch if I struggle with location, so that was a relief to me! And it takes only 10 minutes from Shinjuku. They have website in English so I choosed my favorite sushi and checked prices before going there! They have best service, so if you go? trust me you can be sure to have most authentic experience and relax in a very bright and specious restaurant. And of course the sushi! So fresh delicious with proper size! I suggest you to take counter seat to watch how chef will prepare your sushi! This time I had 13 different types of sushi of "Special Sushizanmai" and I liked it a lot! The tea refill was very nice and soup portion is big! I will go there with friends next time, very suitable for a group meal appointments
