If I could give more stars, I would! They don’t speak English but they made the best they can with Google translate to walk me through the menu and suggest items. It was the epitome of Japanese hospitality! While I was already impressed by the service, the food followed it was fantastic. The crab was my favorite but the sushis, oh my god. It was a food festival!! It is a quiet place, near by subway and the quality of the food was just spectacular. As a solo traveler, I really enjoyed it - hope you will too!

Best sushi ever had within this price range. Best cost performance sushi I had in Japan so far. They don't speak English but their sushi had 5 star quality. I would definitely recommend it everyone who is searching for good quality sushi.

I went to "Sushi Umi no Michi", a hidden-gem sushi restaurant in Akasaka. The sushi goes without saying, but the quality of the à la carte dishes was amazing. What stood out most were the sweet "corn tempura", the rich "tuna nakaochi", and the fatty "seared nodoguro". They also have plenty of drinking snacks like "whale bacon", and the sake just kept flowing. I finished luxuriously with "ikura hosomaki". The chef is cheerful and energetic! You can feel the careful work, and it's a lively, great place. A spot I'd definitely recommend when you want to enjoy delicious sushi and dishes in Akasaka. I'll be back!

It was my first visit, and the sushi exceeded my expectations! All the toppings were fresh and delicious, I was very satisfied! Not just the sushi, all the à la carte dishes were tasty too, no complaints at all. There are private rooms as well, and in the calm atmosphere I was able to enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace. The service was polite and very attentive, making it extremely comfortable. Overall the quality was very high. A place I'd love to go to again!
