They're open late. A reliable place to have around. The owner chats with you casually, and the conversation flows. The draft beer is good, and there is a selection of sake too. It never gets boring. I had mantis shrimp as a snack, followed by mackerel, horse mackerel, and sardine nigiri. Delicious. Smoking is allowed. The owner says they keep prices low and allow smoking to set themselves apart from other places. It would be 4 stars if it were nonsmoking. I'll come again. Thank you for the meal!

I went to the Thai restaurant next door the day before and was curious about this place, so I stopped by. There are 3 lunch options, including chirashi and bakudan-don, at 1200円 each. When I entered, the owner was working alone, and the seating was mainly at the counter. Everything except chirashi sushi was sold out, so I ordered that and waited. Ordinary chirashi sushi with slightly warm vinegared rice. It might be good when you're hungover or want something light.

The owner, Shima-san, is a lovely person, the sushi toppings are of course excellent, and there is a wide variety of sake, so there is plenty to enjoy.
