I almost never post reviews but felt compelled after tonight’s meal. There are a ton of high end sushi spots in the area and I’ve frequented a few. While Ike-kan isn’t considered ‘high end’ the quality of the product and the authenticity of the place make it special and definitely worth trying. The fish is fresh and the chef is top notch in terms of technique and the way he radiates the joy he takes in executing his craft. Tonight delivered on the Tokyo sushi experience I was hoping to have. I walk away feeling grateful.

Highly recommend. Amazing food, the chefs are extremely nice and friendly. We were able to chat a little. Sushi and other dishes were all exquisite of course.

This place does food very well, from it's soy sauce, salt and rice. Once you know a chef puts so much attention to the smallest details, you know the food will be different. Depending on the season, the shells and silver fish are my favorite items!

Exceptional quality. Very efficient service. A real culinary experience.

Had a very nice omakase meal here and looked after very well by the chef. Here's a pic of the entrance as we weren't exactly sure how to get in. Go up this set of steps stairs and it's the first door in front of you.
