This is the Akasaka branch of Umegaoka Sushi no Midori. 【Commitment to ingredients】 1、Fresh seafood for our sushi toppings is delivered directly from Toyosu Market every day. 2、Our sushi rice uses 100% Haenuki rice from Yamagata Prefecture, a longtime “Special A” award winner ideally suited to sushi. 3、Our sushi vinegar is made using Midori's secret method, with carefully selected sake lees slowly aged and brewed, then combined with rice vinegar finished to a mellow flavor. 4、Our sushi nori is carefully selected, richly flavored nori from Setouchi, roasted specifically for Midori Sushi. 【Everyday deliciousness and delightful surprises】 Following the process of making “delicious” sushi naturally leads to labor-intensive work. People call that “dedication”…

The first dinner upon arrival in Japan. Found this shop from Google review and decided to give it a try for kickstarting our Japan trip. Due to limited accuracy of translation of booking webpage, we were actually unsure of the course package we ordered and paid for, and in fact it seems like that was the only course we could order (booking was made 10 days in advance). The whole course took us 2 hours, served a variety of dishes and all of them were super fresh! The best out of all will be the grilled prawn and the soy sauce marinated fish. The service was great. We received Sakura shaped card as souvenir in the end too.

Absolutely worth the 30-60 minute wait! We visited twice in three days, once at the sushi bar and again at a table and both experiences were excellent. The quality of the sushi is outstanding, exactly what one hopes for in Japan. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the sushi chefs at the bar were not only skilled but also quite entertaining. Service was quick and efficient. Truly some of the best sushi I’ve ever had!

Worth Every Yen, Worth Every Minute! I was the last in line—almost missed out! But luckily, I made it, and it was absolutely worth it. Ordered as much as I could, and every dish was fantastic. No disappointments at all! • The sushi pieces were big and incredibly fresh. • Every bite was packed with amazing flavor. • The price was reasonable for the quality. A must-visit spot for sushi lovers!

Great value without expensive price. I don’t they compromised the quality but still provide very fresh sushi.

Fantastic meal and experience overall - every single ingredient with the sushi was so fresh I had no idea sushi could taste that good. We ordered the ¥3,300 set which was actually quite a lot and we were stuffed by the end. Staff was extremely friendly too. Came at 11am on a Sunday and waited ~20-30 min to be seated. The line got long as we were leaving. Recommend if you’re looking to eat good (somewhat affordable) sushi in Tokyo!
