I had an excellent meal at Nishioka and highly recommend it! The sushi and sashimi were expertly prepared and carefully selected — incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of pure flavor. Every piece was a delight. The service was outstanding, with excellent attention to detail. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special and welcoming. A truly memorable Japanese dining spot in Tokyo. Will definitely be back!
View on GoogleAn outstanding sushi restaurant serving incredibly fresh fish, often caught the same morning or the day before. I was told they partner with airlines to transport seafood quickly, which helps ensure exceptional freshness. The sushi itself was excellent, and you can really feel the chef’s dedication and attention to detail in every aspect of the experience. The only downside is that it’s a bit out of the way, making it more of a destination restaurant than a convenient stop. Still, it’s a place I’d happily visit again. The location is deep within a residential neighborhood, which may make it less ideal for a date. It feels more like the kind of place you’d visit with friends who truly appreciate great sushi.
View on GoogleHighly recommend this restaurant If you want to have a special “private” omakase sushi experience, it waaay better than ginza or roppongi sushi restaurants which is crowded all the time and expensive. This restaurant has reasonable price and it’s 18-20 dishes for dinner.

View on GoogleWe have eaten at a lot of Michelin starred restaurants - Japanese and otherwise. Not downplaying any of them but this one is totally different and really very special. This young chef serves up mainly fresh fish - a lot of the fish served was caught that morning and for this reason the texture was completely unlike the normally aged edomae sushi we are used to. It's not the texture only however - the taste, the freshness comes through, there is very little use of soy to mask the flavour and certain sushis include parts of the fish too - my favourite one came with a piece of its own liver tucked underneath - and the taste was something I cannot describe truly. Many fish served were ones we usually do not eat or have not tasted (not the popular ones) and that certainly added to the memorable experience. Some of the fishes served were - Red Sea Bream, Bonito fish, Tiger fish, Clam, Purple Sea Urchin, Blue Salmon fish, Striped Shrimp and the oh-so-fresh Salmon Roe - which we were told was the first of the season. Their selection of Sake is excellent too. After a particularly long stay in Japan, Sushi Nishioka was the perfect concluding dinner. Thank you for a lovely experience!
