A cozy, counter-only shop with 7 seats, run entirely by the owner alone. We serve Edomae sushi as a course only, combining wild fish purchased at Toyosu that day with appetizers, grilled dishes, and more. We are currently temporarily suspending takeout. Also, due to the impact of COVID and to eliminate food waste, we operate on a fully reservation-only basis, with reservations required by the previous day. We sincerely look forward to your reservations. (Please note that since 2017 we no longer offer lunch service. Thank you for your understanding.)

This was my fourth visit, and this restaurant has officially become my go-to tradition every time I’m in Japan. The owner-chef has been running this spot entirely by himself for 10 years, and his passion truly shows. Every dish in the Omakase dinner is seasonal, exquisite, and incredibly fresh. Beyond the delicious food, the chef is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the experience feel personal and special. For the quality you receive, the price is very reasonable. I cannot recommend it enough!

Very good sushi and sake. The chef knows the food and sake incredibly well, pairing the sushi and sake perfectly. A must-try! The price is highly reasonable considering the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the meal.

Best Omakase in Japan. Care and precision of the chef makes the whole experience, sensories and tastes to the next level with clever pairing of sake with food. Cozy hole in the wall and limited space adds to the experience of having a personal fine dining chef.

Chef is super happy, the food was amazing! He even knew what beverage to pair with the sushi you were eating. Will definitely try to eat here again when I visit Tokyo

We had a wonderful experience at Sushi Kisaragi! Seeing as there are only 7 seats at the restaurant, it felt very intimate. A true omakase experience. What I liked most was that it wasn't all sushi. The non-sushi dishes were just as amazing as the sushi itself! We ate here in early November, so the dishes were tuned to the season. I can't describe it perfectly, but as we ate, it felt like we were picking up things we don't usually pick up on. Like we felt more connected to what we were eating. It was a warm and cozy meal that satisfied our souls.
