Chef is really nice but the lady waiting overcharged. I asked to swap the entree because the sour spicy fish didn’t taste good and the chef offered to replace it with a cheaper item I wanted to try instead. The lady refused to swap and said I had to pay full price for both meal sets even though I only took a bite to taste it.

After seeing other people's reviews, I ordered the lazi ji this time. The flavor was delicious, but there was hardly any meat inside the fried chicken. Chicken skin? Almost all batter? Maybe I just got unlucky, but next time I want to eat proper chicken with this delicious flavor! I'm writing this review with that hope. There are lots of other tasty dishes like the beef xiaomian, so I'm rooting for you!

One afternoon when I was on the verge of becoming a 'lunch refugee', I found 『Shokuzenbo』, where you can enjoy authentic Sichuan cuisine. It's on the 2nd floor of a building between Akasaka Misuji-dori and Hitotsugi-dori, and its hidden-gem vibe got me excited♪ The interior is in calm tones, a relaxing space. There are counter seats so you can come in alone without hesitation, and the tables are spacious, so it's ◎ for groups too. The faint aroma of spices and the sound of the wok being tossed really whet my appetite! The lunch set comes with rice (free refills), Chinese soup, a small side dish, pickles, almond tofu for dessert, and even a free glass of cola or Calpis — a lineup that's way too perfect! ☑️Black Vinegar Subuta Set【1,050 yen】 One bite of the crispy fried pork and the juices come gushing out! The mellow, rich tang of black vinegar gently wraps everything up, perfectly balanced with the sweetness. The umami lingers in your mouth, a flavor you could eat endlessly♪ The soup has a gentle flavor, a great supporting player that balances the richness of the subuta. Switching things up with the small side dish and pickles, the rice just keeps disappearing~! Finishing off with the silky sweetness of almond tofu, satisfaction MAX♡ All this for 1,050 yen is incredible value; taste, portion, and service all on point — totally satisfied! Thank you for the meal✨
