After finishing my errands in Shinagawa, I had lunch at another restaurant here in Shinatatsu, but this shop caught my attention, so I stopped by again on my way home. I bought a meal ticket for back-fat soy sauce ramen ¥780 and went in. It was already past lunchtime here too, with only 4~5 customers ahead of me, so I was seated straight away. The bowl arrived in a few minutes, accompanied by 3 complimentary gyoza. It looked very greasy with back fat, but the broth was surprisingly light! The noodles were thin and curly, but quite soft, with some clumped-up sections~. I had to loosen them before eating. The flavor was quite good, and the complimentary extra was nice, so if they made it a little more carefully, it would be perfect.
View on GoogleI enjoyed the shio ramen, which was similar to Kitakata ramen. It seems every noodle order at lunchtime comes with 3 gyoza! The chashu rice bowl was meltingly tender too. Smoking is allowed if you use IQOS.
View on GoogleI ordered spicy tsukesoba. After upgrading to a large serving for 100 yen, I couldn't finish it. I think it was a limited-time offer, but it came with 3 complimentary gyoza. The flavor wasn't my preference, but it was tasty. It tasted a little like curry.
View on GoogleThe shio ramen, with its beautifully clear broth, felt like a delicious modern take on an old-fashioned flavor. At lunchtime on this visit, complimentary gyoza were being offered.
View on GoogleThere was a hair in the broth, and when I pointed it out, the response wasn't very good either—they simply replaced it, which led to this rating…. The saltiness and strong flavor didn't suit my taste either.
