The interior at first glance looks like a typical neighborhood Chinese restaurant The first floor is counter-only, and there are tables on the second floor? The shangtang noodles were delicious. The boiled gyoza are pretty salty, and as written inside the shop, they're meant to be eaten as is, so there's no soy sauce provided. The recommendation is apparently the homemade doubanjiang, but personally I also liked eating them with just vinegar. That said, everyone else ordered pan-fried gyoza, so maybe the fried ones are more popular. The jellyfish dressed in black vinegar tastes exactly like its name. There was something, I don't know what, that occasionally had a crunchy texture, which bugged me.

A Chinese restaurant in the Mita/Tamachi dining area. If you go at lunchtime, there's a gyoza and ramen set menu. There's seating on the second floor and it isn't cramped inside, but the first floor is counter-only and fits about 8-10 people. When I ordered the boiled gyoza, out came gyoza with thick skins. Instead of gyoza sauce, you eat them dipped in a mix of the spicy miso and vinegar on the table. The skins are bouncy and delicious, and the filling is light so it feels like you could eat a lot. The ramen is super light with a chicken-stock base and is served in a mini-size bowl. If you want a hearty serving of ramen, you should also order the large noodle portion. I happened to not be very hungry and wanted a reasonable amount of clean, light ramen rather than a rich, heavy, punchy one, so it was perfect. If you want something easy on the stomach and not greasy, I recommend this place.

Went for lunch. It's tasty, but the lunch set comes with a half-size ramen and the gyoza are small, so the portion is on the light side. If you want a normal-sized meal, adding rice or a large noodle portion isn't that expensive, so I think that would make it the right amount.

I had the shantan noodles and boiled gyoza. The ramen soup, with its gentle chicken flavor coming through, was great. The snacks are reasonably priced too, so I think it's a good spot for a drink after work
