The Dan Dan noodles were good, but not particularly impressive. The flavor was similar to Hashigo’s, perhaps with a stronger sesame note. The portion of pork was very small, and it felt overpriced. The dumplings, however, were quite good.
View on GoogleTaste Good! The meat is so tasty and oily. I really like the thin noodles. The soup is spicy, but the flavor is so rich. They also offer non-spicy ramen.
View on GoogleCan’t get enough of the ramen in Tokyo. The variety is just amazing. This place has more of a tan tan men. Sesame base broth that is just delectable. Try the yuzu ramen, nice and refreshing.
View on GoogleEnjoyed a piping hot bowl of ramen in a soy broth with yuzu zest and plenty of garlic. The broth was quite special. Good gyoza, too! Great atmosphere: U-shaped counter and bossa nova on the stereo (the proprietor’s choice). Recommend for lunch.
View on GoogleI’ve been coming here (and original Hongo place) for 15+ years now. A huge fan. The master is such a kind soul. Food is unique, delicious and nutritious. Above all prices are so reasonable. Don’t think they have increased for more than 15 years. Amazing place to listen to jazz too.
