We went to Savoy for dinner. As we didn’t make a reservation and just turned up on the same day, we had to put our names onto the walk-in list. We did have to wait for a quite a while but it was well worth it. I would encourage people to either arrive prior to opening times to line up and secure a seat straightaway or make a reservation before hand (those who reserved could go straight in). In terms of food, the pizzas were great, we tried the Pizza Y (blue fin tuna), Diavola (hot salami) and Margarita DOC (mozzarella and tomato). The crust was thin, light and had a lovely chew. Toppings were high quality and worked well together. Appetisers were also tasty. Staff were attentive and very friendly. Payment could be made with cash or card, so was easy!
View on GoogleClearly one of the best Neapolitan style pizzas I have ever had. The crust is incredible.l light, fluffy and incredibly well prepared; not a minute under or over baked in one of their two huge (named ovens) woodfired ovens. The ingredients were fresh, the fior Di latte perfect. A must go to! My top 3 pizzas I have ever had.
View on GoogleIt was easy to make a reservation online and I highly recommend you do so. They opened right at 5:30 and there were about 15 people already waiting to get in. I think they all had reservations. We were the second ones in, we placed our order and the pizzas were cooked in minutes. I didn’t love our seats at the counter all the way up against the wall. It would have been nice to be able to see everything better. I do love that they don’t force you to buy a drink per person but there was a ¥600 charge to book online. We got the margherita pizza for ¥1980 and the tuna wasabi pizza called Pizza Y for ¥3960. They were a little smaller than I expected. One person can definitely finish one on their own. The tuna pizza was expensive but it was the star of the show. It was delicious. However, I hate green onions which were not on the menu but they came on top of the tuna pizza. Luckily it wasn’t cooked in and was easily removed. Really enjoyed the food here. Never knew wasabi belonged on a pizza but it absolutely does!
View on GoogleCame to Savoy without reservation. Got here around 12.15pm and were seated right away. We ordered 2 pizzas: diavola and japanese-Y, also with a side salad 🥗 Antipasti: salad green. Nothing crazy Diavola: Usual pizza I ordered every where. The spiciness was strong and salami tasted really good. The basil leaves were very fresh and fragrant. Japanese Y: It’s cheese based pizza with medium rare/rare meguro topped with chives. I love the combination of this since the tuna doesn’t feel too much and the chives can help with the greasiness. Wish we had a little bit more meat and less olive oil drizzle. It was quite oily. It’s a unique combination so I highly recommended! Overall, the crust was a bit thicker than my fav pizza places and it feels a bit heavy. If you like heavy texture. you’d love this place!
View on GoogleFEB 2026 Arrived 15 minutes before opening time on a weekday and there were only several people in line. You will need to put your name down on the form if you don't have a reservation. Customers who have made a reservation will be seated first. A few minutes after opening the restaurant was nearly at full capacity so recommend going a few minutes earlier if you want to get the first seating. I had the margherita D.O.C pizza which was prepared, ovened and served in less than five minutes after ordering which was very quick. The pizza dough was soft and pillowy, lightly crisp on the edges, and a very thin base. It was topped with a generous amount of buffalo mozzarella cheese, cherry tomatoes and olive oil so it is best enjoyed with a knife and fork. The buffalo mozzarella cheese was lightly heated so it maintained a fresh creamy texture and the cherry tomatoes added a pleasant sweet acidity. Overall it was a tasty traditional pizza done well. Note that there is a one drink order requirement per person and that it is a fast paced dining where they expect the table back once you have finished eating.
