Classic Japanese restaurant. Had fish set for lunch and it was delicious. Restaurant run only by one friendly chef. Cash only.
View on GoogleSandaime seems to be a shop started by the grandson of a fish shop that used to be in Moto-Akasaka. Since it's just the owner alone, there are only 3 lunch options, all thousand-yen lunches. The rice and miso soup were delicious, and the main ginger pork had a punchy, great flavor. It's underground so I couldn't see what it was like inside, but the owner's spirited welcome was pretty nice.
View on GoogleThe ginger pork set meal was average. The staff's attitude wasn't very good. They didn't tell me at the entrance that only cash is accepted during the day, which put me in a bind. I felt they weren't thinking from the customer's point of view.
View on GoogleA Japanese restaurant operating in the former Kajika Bekkan space, reusing its existing fittings🍚 I visited for lunch; the seating layout and such was unchanged from before, and since I came in after 1pm there were only a few customers. This time I ordered the grilled fish set meal, and my coworker the stamina ginger pork (no photo); I thought the soup would be miso soup, but it was tonjiru, packed with ingredients, and the rice🍚 was nice and chewy too, so I enjoyed it😋
View on GoogleA Japanese restaurant on basement level 1. At lunchtime, they offer 3 options: pork ginger set meal (1000 yen), grilled fish and marinated tuna set meal (1200 yen), and hayashi rice (1000 yen). All set meals come with tonjiru.
