Been eating here since I was a kid. The curry is good and the price is reasonable. They no longer have the ticketing machine and the number of dine in seats are limited. Portions for the multi curry options are small. It’s a good place to get a quick bite to eat.
View on GoogleLocated in Minami Azabu, this Samrat Restaurant is a part of chain restaurants in Japan. Has authentic taste and more options for curry, including vegetarian curry. Reasonable/cheap prices, and can get unlimited refills of rice/naan for extra ¥60. Has options for tandoori chicken/kebab/samosa set, and even drink sets.
View on GoogleI've ordered delivery from UberEats numerous times. The attention to detail with packaging is amazing. Food is always fresh, and the quality supersedes other Indian restaurants in the city. Their curries are so flavorful and not greasy. The chicken biryani is packed with chicken and the rice is well seasoned and so abundant. I just wished they had hard boiled eggs in the biryani. Highly recommended. One of my go-to places for Indian food in the city.
View on GoogleVery authentic. Amazing naan and good price.
View on GoogleA bit of a dive, but I initially liked it for a high four stars. Had some trouble figuring out the vending machine, even though it also has English. I doubt many of the customers linger, though I like the music and it's too bad Google Maps doesn't allow capturing that, too. Another hard-working Nepali place, with especially long hours. Several strong Wi-Fi signals, though they don't have their own. The curry base was nice and thick, but not spicy enough and the seafood ingredients were so-so. I liked the naan, though it was on the heavy side. I just missed the lunch menu, but even the dinner menu is a good value. Still, in the end I'm going to have to call it a medium four stars.
