Do not eat here. The staff are rude! Hygiene is also an issue.

10 of us visited just after 18:00 on a Saturday in early December 2025. It’s roughly halfway between 青山一丁目 and 外苑前, on basement level 1 of a building facing 青山通り. There’s no elevator, only a narrow staircase, but the interior was fairly spacious and lively. However, the seating is quite tightly spaced, so it may feel a little unsettled when lots of people are coming and going. Overall, the food is strongly seasoned, which I think will divide opinions. The prices are relatively reasonable too, so I think it’s a good place for casually enjoying Chinese food in the 青山 area. It seems to be closed on Sundays, but apparently they will open for private bookings if the group is large.

I’ve been coming here for years and visited again after a long break. This was my first time coming for lunch. There were lots of lunch menu options, and the portions were generous.

Along 青山通り, very close to the station, in the basement of a building. Passing a pond that looks like a miniature garden and opening a substantial-looking door reveals a surprisingly spacious restaurant with an upscale atmosphere, featuring many round tables and long tables separated by folding screens. Despite the interior’s appearance, lunch prices are very reasonable: the tantanmen set includes a half portion of fried rice, a spring roll, and almond pudding, making it feel like excellent value. Unusually, the tantanmen contains mushrooms and garlic shoots, making it a little like hot pot; the flavor is standard and quite mellow, while the heat is about average. The half portion of fried rice comes in a small rice bowl and is very lightly seasoned, more like fried-rice-style mixed rice. Overall, the flavors could use a little improvement, but the set’s contents provide a satisfying amount of food and it’s a nice place for a leisurely meal, so it may suit groups or those prioritizing value.
