View on GoogleA new cold noodle shop right near Akasaka-mitsuke Station. I went for lunch. ◆Original Reimen + Yakiniku Hamburg Bowl Set 850 yen The shop is white-themed, super bright and stylish✨️ Totally fine for women dining solo too❗ There are only 2 tables, one for 4 and one for 2, and the rest is counter seating. You choose and order from the menu on a touch-panel ticket machine. The menu only has ・Original Reimen ・Yakiniku Hamburg ・Gyudon and then toppings Easy to understand and simple❗️ At the seats, besides seasonings, chili oil, pepper, shichimi, and vinegar, there was tenkasu too It came on a tray Here it comes❗ The reimen is so pretty(/▽\)♪ The egg yolk for the bowl came on a separate plate, so I put it on top✨ The hamburg is a firm, solid patty. I put the egg yolk on the patty This one looks Instagrammable, but the taste is about what you'd imagine, I guess? The reimen comes with shiso and plum paste by default, and true to their commitment, it's sooo goood❤️ The ice-cold reimen is churun, churun... it's literally Reimen Churun, isn't it❗(((*≧艸≦) The chewy, springy noodles are delicious and the soup is gentle enough to drink up. The plum paste does a great job too, I usually pour tons of vinegar on, but it's plenty tasty without it❗ This is great❤️ I might want to eat just lots of reimen✨️ Ice-cold and churun, churun super recommended on hot days. The price is reasonable too, nice❤️ There's an alcohol menu posted in the shop, so maybe they serve it at dinner time? Looks like you could casually grab a quick drink too, I'm curious❗️ Also, the counter seats on the left as you enter have power outlets❗ Convenient❤️ Thanks for the meal
View on GoogleCherry blossom season is over, and it's gradually getting hotter toward summer. It's quite hot during the day, and on days like this you want to eat something refreshing. While walking around thinking that, I found a shop. It said cold noodle specialty shop. I love reimen so much that I always order it when I go to a yakiniku restaurant, but surprisingly I don't remember eating it in any other situation. A specialty shop for reimen piqued my interest, so I decided to go. Since it only opened at the end of 2022, the exterior and interior are very clean. Ordering is by meal ticket. There are several types of reimen, and there are sets and side dishes, but the number of menu items itself isn't that large. I bought a ticket and was shown to a table. ■Highball (450 yen) This time, unusually, I ordered a highball as my first drink. I thought beer might not be right... so I went with a highball, but what drink goes well with reimen? Now, looking around the table, there are seasonings lined up: tenkasu, vinegar, shichimi, chili oil, and pepper. I see, so you use these to make the reimen to your liking. ■Churun Original Reimen (750 yen) ■Pork Bowl (250 yen) And here comes the reimen! First, the most classic reimen. I ordered it as a set with the pork bowl. It looks like classic reimen, as expected. It's topped with plum, shiso, and beef-bone broth in sherbet form; it's simple, but the broth really comes through and it's very delicious! The noodles are chewy too, and personally it's very much the type of reimen I like. That said, for people who find reimen alone not enough... I also recommend the pork bowl. Unlike the reimen, it's seasoned on the rich side, so it makes a nice change of flavor, and it doesn't go badly with the reimen. ■Kujo Negi Kimchi Reimen (950 yen) This is the other reimen I ordered. A spicy reimen topped with plenty of Kujo green onions. The noodles are the same chewy noodles and coat well with the soup; this was also very delicious. If you're eating it to finish off yakiniku, the classic reimen is better, but if you're eating reimen on its own, I might like this one more. The flavorful soup, kimchi, and Kujo green onion go together perfectly. So I thoroughly enjoyed some superb reimen. Reimen really is delicious. Until now I didn't know of any place where you could casually eat just reimen, so I'm very happy a reimen specialty shop opened nearby. I don't usually think "Let's eat reimen!", but from now on I'll make it one of my options. You can drink alcohol and there are some small snacks, so it seems good for finishing off a night too. It's a shop I'd definitely like to visit again.
View on Google=====MENU===== 〇Original Reimen + Umeboshi 〇Actual cost: 800 yen ----- The shop is a 2-minute walk from Akasaka-mitsuke Station, diagonally across from Karaoke-kan. I visited a little after 12 on a weekday. The shop was 90% full, but since I was alone I was shown to the counter, so I got in without waiting. You buy from the ticket machine at the entrance. It's nice that you can use credit cards, e-money, and paypay. This time I ordered the Original Reimen, No. 1 in October's popularity ranking, with added umeboshi. 〇Original Reimen + Umeboshi It has a firm chewiness, so much that you wonder if each noodle has a will of its own. It's refreshing yet the broth seems to come through, and the soup is delicious too. Only the flesh of the umeboshi is used, making it a nicely balanced accompaniment. All that for 800 yen. The menu is posted at the entrance, so it's easy to understand. The self-service water lets you choose between "room temperature," "cold," and "warm"—a nice touch. The interior feels clean, and they post last month's ranking; these may seem like basic things, but the little touches are nice. There are other menu items I'm curious about, like spicy-savory reimen, warm noodles, potato salad, and nanbanzuke, so maybe I'll come at night next time.
