Little hidden gem! Service was amazing and food was delicious. My husband and I ordered the following: Kale Cesar Salad, Wagyu Beef Gyoza, Spicy Curry Rice and Fried Egg and the Black Wagyu Beef Sirloin Steak. The Black Wagyu Beef Sirloin Steak was SO delicious that we ordered it a second time!!

Chef (when not overly busy) is very personable. Staff i met in mid afternoon spoke good English and was highly helpful and welcoming. Came back for their set dinner and was satisfied with the majority of what was served. The beef steak that came at the end was very good.. Requested medium rare, and the hot plate had a cylindrical piece that lets you cook further your beef if you wish.

Pound-Ya is a hamburger steak restaurant near Tokyo midtown. The credit card machine was down so it was cash only. I appreciate that they had a sign in the window in both languages. Conscientiousness much appreciated. The food is exceptional. Special note to the salad, broccoli, fried potatoes in addition to the steak and hamburg steak. The bread seemed oaty and the amuse bouche pumpkin soup was great. Only knock is that they forgot to put the spaghetti order in so we were waiting around for it and it didn’t came. I’m not mad, just sad I couldn’t eat it. Worth a stop by and I’ll be retuning with kids and family.

My wife and I dined at Pound-Ya last night and were truly impressed. The ambiance was inviting, the service exceptional, and the food absolutely delightful. I indulged in the Pound-Ya Standard Course, which featured several exquisite items, including the soup of the day, a shredded hamburger and spinach quiche, and a kale salad. Additionally, I savored the hamburg steak, baked tartare with semi-dried tomatoes and shallots, and purple cabbage with sesame and kelp dressing. The Kuroge Wagyu beef stew with two types of bread, the Kuroge Wagyu beef lean steak, and the Bolognese were all perfectly prepared. The seasonal ice cream was a refreshing finish to the meal. I even ordered an extra hamburg steak due to its irresistible flavor. My wife opted for the hamburg steak paired with a black Wagyu beef lean steak, garlic, and a fried egg, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Pound-Ya offers high-quality domestic beef at reasonable prices, creating a unique and memorable dining experience. Highly recommended!
