Genuinely dumbfounded at the negative reviews. Had a wonderfully pleasant experience. Pizza cooked perfectly with high quality tasting ingredients and friendly, warm service. Would come back in a heartbeat.

In terms of pizza quality, this is nowhere near a 3.6-star pizzeria—it should easily be above 4.5 stars. I understand that many of the negative reviews are due to the coperto charge, but that's just as authentically Italian as the ingredients and the pizza itself! The quality of the food is outstanding, with excellent ingredients and a pizza that is every bit as good as what you'd expect from a great pizzeria in Italy. Yes, it's a little more expensive than the average pizza place in Tokyo, but it's also located in a prime area, so that's worth taking into account. In my opinion, both the price and the coperto are fully justified. You can immediately tell that the pizzaiolo knows exactly what he's doing, and the result is one of the most authentic Neapolitan pizzas you'll find outside Italy.

We visited Napule after a delightful tour of the lively Tokyo Midtown area. The complex features a massive multi-floor mall, a separate shopping plaza, and a basement level that connects them, filled with charming cafes, small restaurants, kiosks, and wonderful bakeries. Napule is located on the first floor, offering a picturesque winter view of the garden illuminated with seasonal lights. The outdoor seating area is a highlight, especially if you’re lucky enough to catch suitable weather. The restaurant provides heaters for outdoor dining, but the breeze can be a bit bothersome at times. Reservations are highly recommended as the restaurant is usually busy. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, with exceptionally fast service. The staff were cheerful and attentive, making our dining experience enjoyable. The menu is authentically Italian, featuring a variety of vegetarian dishes that are also suitable for Muslims (halal options). We ordered the Burrata Salad, which was served with cherry tomatoes, olive oil, and a unique addition of lemon paste. This twist was something I hadn’t encountered in other Italian restaurants before—unusual but delightful. We also tried the Mozzarella Pizza with Provolone Cheese. The crust was perfectly crispy, with the rich flavor of the wood-fired oven coming through beautifully—absolutely delicious. Additionally, we ordered the Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce, which I didn’t personally taste, but the others in my group loved it and praised its balance and flavorful taste. Overall, Napule is an excellent choice for a family meal, with a great location, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere. It was a wonderful dining experience, and I’d highly recommend it for anyone visiting Tokyo Midtown.
